I don't agree...crashbar is to protect ur engine. Unless u've got a different idea wat a crash bar is.

Hi...

Just got a VerS.

Does anyone know where can i get crashbars and voltmeter done cheaply? Aside from LAB...

And which is better? 3 point or 2 point?

get a 3pt ones...2 pt wudnt be able to protect da side in da even when da bike slide on its side...happen to me twice n it serve its purpose. Crashbar is not entirely for cosmetic purpose though motoworld sell those nicely anodized ones bt those normal one selling at LAB works equally well also

btw did anyone noticed that the 3pt crash bar nowadays is quite hollow thats why it cheap.....wonder if sengkwang can make a more solid one?

Mostly @ motorshops comes wif e chrome type, but if u happens to find a black one ,e price should be e same.

If u happen to get any crash bars, try gettin e solid ones rather than e hollow kind.

Price might be a bit more but can withstand e impact if happens ur bike falls.

why bother getting a crashbar when you can very well settle for engine/frame sliders?

sliders look so much nicer! serves the same purpose!

extreme equiptment roxs!

better price than most!

the thing abt sliders is tat the impact will be directed to a single spot rather than distributed to diff pts...and in an event of a crash, if the rd is nt smooth n ur bike skid, da slider wud get stuck into potholes/gaps on rd surface n further damage wud crop up..also looks ridiculous to have many knobby sliders at oddly strategic pts on naked bikes

as for faired bikes, da fairing is last line of defence when da slider giv way....

I dun suggest getting crashbar at LAB.

Mine bought at LAB for $55. Its HOLLOW.

U remebered the incident where I fall together with my bike?

The crashbar totally bend and hit my engine when I fall at a speed of 20-30km/h

My mech just use a crowbar and gave a little hard knock and the crashbar is back to its original state. Lauya rite? he told me to go and find a solid one.

Not to offended LAB lah coz his things can get cheaper and good for me budget rider but the crashbar is for our engine. so we want things that are good and can protect.
