there's another white vespa mirror (round) i saw around online before but that's even more rare and i'm too lazy to go search for pics. basically, as long as it's white and not too expensive, i'm grabbing it! the only white mirror i saw in stores in singapore is this very rectangular-shaped one which shape is a bit too harsh for my liking. i like mirror shapes for vespas that are more curved and rounded like oyster-shaped ones and of cos, round mirrors.

 

SK_I - i thought of spraying my mirror white before but ah joo said the paint wouldn't last and would look darn ugly once it starts being scratched off and all. i have to agree

Fluffpuff - the mirrors that you're looking for are from Brevettato(italy) not that easy to find.

There are others like Bumm from Germany and the locally made ones from Thailand(much cheaper!)

They can be used on all types of scooters, especially the classics/vintage.

 

And yes, try not to have the mirrors sprayed. It'll look like C**P when its starts to peel.

haha ya i know, i can so imagine a half peeled and scratched white mirror. eww anyway ya it would be ideal if SK_I can find a nice white mirror for me

Well Ejat,

 

The difference between classic and vintage hmmm...

 

In Vespa terms.....

Vintage scooters/items that are only produced in the early years(like the 50's-70's). Where as for classic scooters, it can be made now but it can be associated with the old stuffs...Example like the 'other' term that you'd most likely get to hear theres days, NOS(new old stock).

 

Hope this explaination clarifies ur dilemma.:wink:

was browsing through the SBF .. thought of dropping by and say hi to this thread ... bout the metalplast legshield mirror ... think i still have one for sale ....

the exact white with grey trims ... used to have the type with red trim .. but all sold out ... those who keen can contact me at 90933574 ... me selling some other vespa accessories/parts too ... most of it was original back from the 60s and 70s ...

Never thought so deep on that stuff on vintage and classic...As far as I know calssic is a style that's evergreen whilst vintage sounds like very old to me... hehehehe...

heavens no. white vespa mirrors are a real terror to find. only came across one which was very rectangular. find the lines along such shapes too harsh for my vespa. haha i can be a bit picky la i know
