Just watched the news, two men, rider and his pillion, died in an accident along thomson road last night. They went across the road divider and collided headon with a taxi.....

 

Super sad....

Its not really listed. Its some dude advertising for his fren so no pics.... Its just listed in one of the thread from pple looking to buy vespas....

I like it.... But its drum brakes and I'm still new to vespas....

 

Plus it way beyond my budget and my banker refused to approve loan application....

haha nahhh.. one scoot alone is able to make my pockets empty already. =P

 

anyway in my opnion drum brake ain't THAT bad. sure disc brakes provide a shorter braking distance in emergencies but drum brakes do serve their purpose. just gotta get used to them =)

PX200 with disc brake is classic is it? If yes, then classic bike lor.

 

My hubby prefer me to get one with disc brake cos I'm still not used to riding a scoot yet.

 

He say maybe when I am more used to it then wanna buy vintage bike then consider.... alternatively, wait for my biz to be more viable and start making money then save and buy vintage lor...

There will always be a big debate on disc brake vs drum brakes....

 

I am just guessing that newbies like me are better off with disc brakes cos its closer to what we are used to when we learn bikes at the schools.....

 

 

So I think for now, I will settle for a disc brake bike.
