Hi all,

Have u ever wondered? wat type of tyres give u what kinda mileage? from my experience, the bigger the width of the rear and front tyres, the higher my petrol consumption.

also, btt 020 gives me the best fuel consumption. btt 014 okok only.. M1 is the worst!

P/S: Pls do nto flame me, im afraid to be flamed. WE can share some info which u never had known.

The more rubber on the road, the more grip there is. However, it also means more resistance. Energy is lost to heat and sound. Thats why altering tyre pressure can result in a very small change in FC.

yup..like what baron said...

the more rubber there is in contact with the ground..the more energy it takes to move off...

having the correct tyre pressure will also play an important part...

under inflation will shorten the life of your tyre because of the bending of the steel wires in the tyre..increasing the and cause the sides of the tyre to wear out faster..

over-inflation will cause the centre of the tyre to wear out faster..and increase your chances of skidding..

Don't mess with old farts. Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.

Bullshit and brilliance only come with age and experience.
