I went to try this helmet today. And I have to say, for a open face helmet it's pretty decent. But if you're getting it as a modular helmet, I'll say pass it. The shell is really indeed quite creaky and doesn't feel very solid. Upon reading the WBW review, the jaw protection area is quite 'superficial' too. Just my thoughts!

Also, I must comment on the 'you can try only if you want to buy' policy. I encountered the same when buying this helmet at the Desker Road branch and thought it was bullshit (especially when a Caucasian couple was trying on all the helmets they fancied off the shelf without any interference from the staff). However, I kept it all in as I really liked the helmet.

Did the caucasian couple buy anything in the end after trying? Why ang moh can try but not asians? I always respected their policy but if they are not exercising this at 100%, I felt cheated. Maybe my asian head don't smell as good as the angmoh's.:(

now my N43 looks very worn.. Dunno why, and the built in black visor seems clumsy now.. Very dissapointed; prefer old MHR helmet, way cheaper and better..

Be happy always :-)

I want to ask you guys who bought it from chong aik, Does the helmet come with microlok strap and antifog pinlock at the shield (the two dots at the side of the shield to attach antifog visor thing)?

I saw from the specs in many websites regarding n43, it should have come with those feature, but when I bought mine at chong aik, it doesnt have them. The strap is only double D rings which is an old type.

Does chong aik sell the lowered grade n43?

Maybe need to check out Regina to do a comparison

I think the Double D strap is the approved version. The mircro lock is not approved for local use... (thats what i heard)

As for the antifog, some foreign sites in Europe dont come with the fog shield during my initial price comparison search

I dont think it's because of the approved local use reason, because I saw the nolan 103 in the shop already had the microlok strap.

Also it's not the antifog shield itself that I questioned but rather the pinlock to attach the fogshield. N43 shield should have come with the pinlock.
