nope, pipe is not on the top of my list.. suspension is #1.

kalo pipe wa mau AKRAAAAAAAAMUAHAHAHAHAHA or arrow pon ok gak..

yup yup... good choice bro on ur no.1 priority.. Good handling can never be substituted with power..

regarding the pipes, will there be clearance issue in the near future if u get long pipes like akra or others if u'r going to fix panniers on ur bike? I remember correctly that someone mentioned it could be a problem but i did not follow up on the thread.. It's about the panniers hitting the pipe underneath at full suspension play..

If u look at Guru's pix of his pipe, the end part of his pipe is darken due to the shadow of his box.. and the bottom of the panniers look so dangerously close to the end of the pipe... with one hit of a pothole or a bump on the road at a reasonable speed, i think the box or the rack could cause a dent to the end part of the pipe causing unnescessary damage..

Unless that problem i mentioned above is unfounded, I think if u have plans to put panniers, i would suggest a shorter pipe like Arrow or Leo Vince or even those yummy MIVV Suono..

Save u the troubles in near future...

You are absolutely wrong. the clearance between the panniers, the sw-motech rack and the Remus Hexacone end can is more than acceptable. it follows along with the rhythm of the panniers since they are mounted onto the same mounting point. this is quite a common sense. in fact, your panniers run cooler than such other end can like you have mentioned like the arrow or the scorpion that offers direct blow towards the panniers itself causing it and the contents to heat up, melting items like duct tape. The Remus, like the two brothers are one fantastic designed end can. The air runs underneath the panniers instead of hitting them directly. the Remus offers power and the power is Crazy, it comes in a sudden. something that i can't handle.

Gurveer.

Agree that it wont hit the panniers, due to the same mounting point as the pillion rearsets. But it is still close enuff to the panniers to cos some minor heat damage to them. If one is concern of the panniers, then should get pipes that runs thru till the end of them. Confirm no damages.

Good choice for taking akra or arrow, one of the better pipe-makers for bikes.

Good choice for putting ur handling as main priortyfor ur bike, Cos power is nothing without control!

oh ok.. if that's the case, den there should not be any worry.. any pipes also can use...

i supposed i ahould have followed on the thread i mentioned awhile ago..

No offense bro but ur explanation does not carry a lot of water. The remus design is almost identical to mivv. Dimensions and all. Saying hot exhaust won't hit ur panniers is strecthing the truth a little. I mean, in motion, I don't think there's any can that will heat ur panniers. At standstill, probably all cans will. It's just plain physics. BTW, u mentioned other cans not being able to do wat ur Remus can, I gotta ask... Have you used other cans with ur panniers?? Where did this conclusion some from?

Power wise.. let's face it, when you compare dyno charts, there's no arguing abt it. Akra is up way up there.

that's a blardy long pipe!!! ... must get end can extender!!!

yea.. handling and braking before I think about powering up. End cans are on the lower part of my list.
