I riding a FZ1-N.

My bike FC is bout 18.5km/L. Everything stock.

Riding from Pungol to Tuas daily with no pillion so it more to 80% highway & 20% city. Travelling bout 90 km/h to 110km/h & sumtimes 120km/h to 140km/h.

 

Recently i hv dis prob where i juz move out from my carpark early mrg with temp bout 60C when suddenly the engine juz cut off. At first i thought it might be dat the engine was not at the rite temp so da next next i wait till 70C & same thing happen. Notice dat it happen whenever i try to pick up speed from gear 1 to 2.

 

Do any of u guys hv any prob as mine?

try raising ur idling RPM. Fully warmed up in nuetral should be ard 1000rpms. The older your EO and plugs get the higer idling required. I used to set mine at below 1Krpm and my eng stalled whenever I pulled in the clutch for too long.

 

If ur idling is ok, try adjusting ur clutch a little.

 

these dun werk then if you're still under warranty ride into hong leong. There could be lots of reasons from the really simple to the really complicated.

sigh.. everytime convoy mesti ade yg slenge.. tu DRZ wheelie lagi skit langgar kreta, lagi satu moto kecik tu buat burnout at traffic junction...da same guy buat donut kat HDB carpark..naseb baik org tak campak battery..betul ku tak faham nape they have be a nuisance...
