valve tool and tubes

The other lot of riders in the BMW section don't know much about inner tubes, so as an F800GS owner I thought I would ask the scrambler bros...

 

I need a valve removal tool. Its a pain trying to swap tyres without one, can't get enough air out of the tube. Where can I get one in Singapore?

 

Also, inner tubes...heavy duty, BIG ones like 2.5 X 21" and 4.25 x 17".

 

There must be some scram shop out there selling this stuff?

I have never need to use a valve tool for changing out the inner tube, is that just a BMW thing ?

I bought mine from here, it is the building right behind of LTA Sin Ming which you probably very familiar with.

 

That was a few years ago, give them a call to check the stock availability before you drop by. (stock number = 013-300-30 item number = MVC-30)

Just to update anyone looking for something similar...

 

I went to that bike place on Mayo Street. For $7 I got a pair of valve caps that have a little 'nipple' on them. This is a screw-off cap with the valve tool underneath.

 

Very small and neat, and one less tool to carry
