i had a fall on mybike recently & the tailight disappeared,

can i connect the power from my headlight,

i tried & it works, dont noe if its safe or not,

it will work as you basically tap the 12v from your headlight. Do note that you are add extra load on your stock headlight wires, but it should be able to cope. Worst scenario, your headlight cable and switch will deteriorate over time. If you really have to do it, add a relay, and you be safe.

 

Wiring this way, does your brake light work ?

i tried to reconnect the wires, but sometimes got light sometimes no light,

i tink have to reconnect the original way but wif new tail light

sounds like a case of loose wire connection

if you can, try to spend some time tracing out which part connection is loose

my baby is old & very dustry,

bgt a new tailight,

spend a few nites on it also sometime got light

sometimes no light,
