Spoke rims for fairing bikes now illegal?

My friend claimed that his friend's friend (yes, very reliable info) got caught by TP for having spoke rims on his KRR. Was given off with a warning stating that spoke rims are no longer allowed for fairing bikes. The reason given is that spoke rims are too light, thus not safe.

actually.. if ur bike is stick spoke.. once u change considered illegal aredy.. wave change to sport rim aso illegal
