the road there is simply too tempting to overtake, speed. the curves are great. the slow traffic there even forms a somewhat interesting obstacle course. i can't imagine what i'll do when i;m in there riding, although as much as i want to be law aiding, patience often lets one down..

Sorry to say that, is it because of this type of attitude that give Sentona Authority reasons/excuses of not allowing bikes into the island?

People ask me, "Why ride bike?" I ask them back :"Why drive car?"

probably right.. and it think it is more a reason than an excuse..

as said, patience often lets me down.. bad attitude i know.. i constantly remind myself to change. (haa, its true).. but i cannot imagine staying behind the bus or traffic while the bike overheat. similiarly, i won't want to see the gateway bridge becomes a woodlands linkway too.. so i guess the authorities whipped me right..

Guess which word had this meaning.

1. Any code or set of principles containing different provisions for one group of people than for another, esp. an unwritten code of sexual behavior permitting men more freedom than women.

2. A set of principles permitting greater opportunity or liberty to one than to another, especially the granting of greater sexual freedom to men than to women.

3. A set of principles establishing different provisions for one group than another; also, specifically, allowing men more sexual freedom than women.

A definite no. A multi storey carpark outside the gateway is more or less feasible.

There will be two upcoming shopping areas to put down harbourfront soon.

i still dun think it is a good idea. so what if the cars go above the limit when most riders dun obey the speed limit too? if we do let riders in, it will be chaos... :goodluck: for the petition.

Bread pudding.

Single light cream is the type of cream most commonly used for cooking. However, this type of cream should not be boiled as it will curdle. Also, always add hot liquids to the cream rather than the cream to the liquids, in order to avoid curdling. Single(light) cream has an 18 percent fat content.

yeah..it would be nice to ride into sentosa..have a nice evening stroll with my girlfriend on the beach...

one very gd reason why they dont allow bikes to enter is because of safety issues i believe....cause bikes always cut through traffic and they do not want a accident from the other side colliding each other.

let us keep the only last resort island of singpaore to the min polution by the traffic.

all of us can go there for some fresh air and close to the nature once in a while.

i am not against anyone here, so dun bomb me

i once thought of the sentosa plan myself. way before even i got my 2b. no when i think of it, the bends are similar to kent ridge.

even if they allow bikes, we will have to adhere to ridiculous speed limits like 20 to 40. cars may slow down at bends but bikes dont.

when u travel in the bus, u can see the bus rear covering the other lane at times. and we bikers always squeeze and overtake almost everytime.

sentosa is just 2 lanes everywhere.

what i find very irritating is to park around the interchange and take a bus all the way in. and we have to wait for the bus.

i really think it will be good if they make bike lots at the main entrance, that is after the causeway.

Not all riders ride that way. And what makes u think that bike don't slow down and will definitely squeeze and overtake almost everytime? Snake that is why the number of time u accident n crash is really amazing....

FAST BIKE DOESN'T MAKE U A FAST RIDER.

COURTEOUS RIDER MAKES U A GOOD RIDER.

nolah u guys cmon even cars only have so limited roads to drive to. its not so bad... the most u can go are to the beach carparks or to hotel. u cant drive to the attractions even so in a way sentosa allows cars to go in... but only to the carpark of beaches so that beach goers with handful of stuff can juz unload... makes sense dun it? and to go other other parts of the islands... sentosa still imposes on visitors to take the buses or monorails...

so while cars do spoil the tranquility or pollution or shyt... id really hate to hear bike exhaust sound in the island... deny all u want it is irritating. so sentosa gets my approval for their firm stance but could be lenient on us to park our bikes within their premises.

What they need to do is allow bikes to enter the island and develop a special bike only parking area near the first internal bus stop. This way bikers can get into the island easily and then catch the internal busses to any of the beaches.

The current problem is that there isn't any acceptable parking solution for bikes outside the island except the illegal area near the construction site where all the workers bikes are currently parked.

If they allow bikes into the island without restriction then all the idiots will race/speed in there and it will soon become banned again.
