Was at BikeTech21 last night and saw they had a new one piece suit that just came in. Heard it was priced at $680... need to confirm.

Stitching and finishing was good and it was not as heavy as some other branded one piece suits.

Good for a beginner with budget constraints. Worth checking out.

I bought my leather cleaner from 7-11. Usually at the counter, lemme see......[Top Gel] it says. Seriously it works, and it keeps it well moist and lubricated.

I can only afford a Nankai but a race suit is a must for track goers. Save my a$$ during a highside once. :smile:

Polisher = cleaner

Mink oil is nourisher/conditioner and does not clean. Keeps the leather soft and supple and prevent cracking.

In either case, just buy those product meant for leather car seats. Whether it's cleaning or conditioning, it'lll do the job. Autoglym sells products for motorcycle leather but I don't see them in Singapore.

I read somewhere that the hump on the back of a racesuit is to prevent whiplash. How important is that to amateurs like us? Cos from what I've seen, only mid- to high-end suits have humps.

Ouch :giddy:

Guess if I'm going to buy a race suit, I might as well get a good one with the hump.
