I see my chances of a nice suit under 1000 go down the drain, since my size is a bit larger than average. Talked to Regina, he said Alpinestars for me...

Whats the cheapest Astar suit in 1 piece? Is it the Octane?

HI tom... d cheapest alpinestar suit is like d one i'm wearing its called 'patriot' n it cost less than a grand.. d one like sapitos is wearing is also less than a grand too but i do nt knw wats d model...but both is w/o a hump... how big r u? my fren jz bought an rjays suit frm regina, he's abt 1.8m n ard 100kg.. he got d largest size n it fits perfectly, i kinda forget wats d size is... mebbe u cn juz come down to regina n chck it urself.. i'm sure they will oblige to assist u in anyway..

Thanks mate, i'm also 180 but not that fat, 77kg. Thing is, i dont live in Singapore, but i'll be there only on 18th-19th, so i really need to find a suit then.

Yess, my plan is to go to Regina and see what they have that fits. I talked to Darren already, he's friendly.

Btw, how far is it to walk from Regina to Chiap Lee? Its not that far right?

it's really value worth money, consider some of it are kangoo skin... the suit is actually made by Berik, but marketed under a different name in the west.

 

berik and arlen ness are from the same company and are common used by motogp riders.

 

Nice...love their simplistic colour schemes and their use of kangaroo skin.

Question is, wonder what's the price for one piece and whether they do come in sizes for a moderately-slim dude like me

for motogp brand, it's very difficult to look for any size smaller than US/EUR 40/50, cos they are catered for the western market.

 

anything smaller than tat, ya'll have to find the parent brand, either berik or arlen ness.

 

rhema used to bring in these suits, mayb ya can look for him.

 

i'd seen ya once, i think ya wear a US/EUR 36/46 or mayb 34/44.

You can get Viper fullsuits at Chiap Lee. I just tried size 2XL there in the afternoon just now. The price of the fullsuit that I tried is $450. I didn't get it though cos it was a tight fit and the colour didn't appeal to me...

Nice price though. I was looking on the net, cant find a suit named only Viper, its either AGV Viper, Rockwell Viper etc... Can u describe the colour scheme on that suit?

 

Btw, how do you nicely tell one shop after you tried a suit there, that "i will just go to that other shop to have a look, might be back"... I dont want to piss off the staff, just nicely looking around a bit before i make a decision. You feel kind of pressured to buy something, after trying it out, and getting help from the staff.. or maybe its just me.

Its since been cleaned, aired, and kept in storage with a generous layer of clover leather care. Care cycle is repeated every 3 months.
