Hey why is nobody taking the Parallel importing idea seriously? PML sucks for trying to make so much money..

 

PI price only a difference of 2-3k..

let me warn u though..

BMW bikes have to go through this diagnostic machine thingy.

For a PI bike to back to PML for this or even any other things, PML will charge $5000 upfront.

Do check with PML if you consider a PI bike.

In Aussie the bike is only 1000 dollars more expensive than a cbr1. In singapore its almost 15k sgd more expensive

Maybe BMW wants to compete with USA & Europe in mind, where the market share is huge.therfore price pressure.

Singapore market may not be lucrative enough to have good pricing over volume.Unless there is a sole agent servicing entire APAC, to get better bulk volume price.

Then again, there is warehousing, longer shipping distance from Munchen , travel insurance,tax...the commision of seller...will be pass-on to owners.

The more "middle-man handling" there is, the more the price will increase....

The potential owner pays all.sian......

FYI Loois has a diagnostic room on it's 3rd level.. I believe they spent 6 figures for that and it sure does BMW bikes.. Not too sure if they gonna PI the S1000R.. If there's demand, they might PI.. Cheers

Be advised its abt 1.75times more u have to pay compared to a 2010 japenese superbike lol

I would have got a s1000 if not for the crazy price tag.. nonethless i got myself a cbr1 08 for half the price of a bmw.. i'm glad the reviews for the blade was nice as well lol need to learn how to appreciate the good stuff my blade is giving.

 

Anywy ducati play cheat sia.. they send a bike which comes with termi? lol

They already got a 3L smaller tank for reduced weight.

The first batch of 5 S1000RR has already been sold and on the road. The owners are not SBF forumers, I suppose. So far, no luck of bumping into any of the riders on the roads...:)
