Yes true. I expected Chelsea to win the title this season before it began anyway, this team is scary. But really, I expected slightly more from Liverpool. Gerrard was terrible the entire game.

Basically... Berbatov could not fit in and not effective.

Need someone really good to partner Rooney up front or a better attacking central midfield in the likes of Lampard.

Its ok, ending this season without the bpl title will make saf n man united even hungrier for more next season, i think, from the time man united drew with blackburn, i tot, that was it and it looks tat way...berba cud have given some hope for next season if he had converted a hat trick of chances last nite...

You're right, my sentiments exactly. Ferguson needs to spend money to get a new strike partner for Rooney, who's capable of playing alone also, and a effective AM/playmaker in the mold of Fab/Arshavin. We're lacking that. I was hoping Anderson would fill in that role, but he's been largely playing more in the DM position.

Yeah and Ferguson wasn't even angry at Berba for missing clear cut chances. Guess he has really given up hope on the no. 9.
