Jean, that just show the maturity of that fellow.... I suggest you delete away his pm next time... don't waste time... especially if he tries making his point by putting the opposite sex down. I am clearly inspired on by a female rider on SRAD 750 when I feel like giving up on my prac 3 during my 2B course back in those days.. Think no one is a more superior rider than any others.... Only the depth of passion in biking counts.....

This a Gixxer column. Mind u is Column not forum.

I'm no friend of Marlboro or watsoever. BUT I agree with IL4.

He did post constructive post about the GSX400 and he does show deep knowledge on these bikes.

He tok cok i agree. SO DO U GUYS! Just u guys don't know him u don't allow others to tok cok here or say his post non constructive. I've seen MANY NON CONSTRUCTIVE post from u guys as well.

This is a Public forum where all share and learn and TALK COk together. Can't take the Joke Ignore. I don't know the nick but that gal that Marlbaro is hitting on is not even complaining but playing along with his jokes Wat are u Guys Complaining about?!?!

Banning and kicking a guy just cos u guys don't like him BUT this guys like IL4 u reported in case u don't know have VERY and I mean VERY deep Knowledge on Bikes and u guys are banning them just cos u don't like wat they say or advice?

I said this before and Now I'm saying it again. "Why all the senior Mads who use to give very constructive and vaulable information and technical advices have all gone quite?!?!"

We dun own this thread, it's a public thread not exclusive to just a few of us.

If you read the threads carefully, apparently there's something else these guys are

"arguing" about.

It's a GSX400RR Riders thead so tokking cok is okay.

How come when I post a thread requesting for technical help on jetting

Well, dun flame me for this but wif all this tokking c*** ard, the thread does seem to have become more lively.....of course, the stuff that we tok abt should be something that more or less everyone(or at least most of those that reads this thread frequently) knows........juz like when we discuss about our outings and nobody gives 2 hoots about joining us...nuthing we can do about that rite?

Regarding non constructive threads, i do admit that i myself post these as well, but its the nature of these postings that turn pple off eg. Given a choice would you rather read lame postings or postings which you feel is a personal insult of some form to you?(There may be weird who like being insulted.....but i dunno.....SM anyone? )

N for the personal kind of insults/suanning/ridicule/jokes, tink these could be more aptly posted to the pm section of that member isn't it?

We are all here to learn about our bikes n makes frens so there is no need to stir up such a big hoo ha over such a small matter rite? How abt some kiss n make up?

One reason i could think about those whom are said to have alot of knowledge on our bikes not speaking up anymore - could it be that they have changed their bikes and no longer freqently visiting this thread? As such they would be deterred by the vast amounts of postings and furthermore they start to find that the pple they knew frequenting the thread also no longer visits n posts so they start to put their interest in some other thread?

But as for making up. I do hope all here will. For me. I don't offend anyone here (I think) but can be very direct in postings sometimes so sorry if I offended anyone.

Not true. Try finding these PPle Post and u realise they are very rare now except in some invisible forum that used to be around (But no more due to some public oppsision) where people wanted to learn and can take harsh critisicium in order to learn more and the same time joke around crudely without worries of offending anyone as wat is meant to be a Joke is a Joke.. That's where these pple give advises and comments freely without worrying of being flame or pple saying they show off. BUT they have given up in the main. Now we have to PM them for advices and others who face the same won't get to benefit together.

Sad isn't it?!?

Well, i can't say that pple can't joke ard crudely but sometimes there is a limit to what pple can tolerate....some have lower tolerance to such remarks.......i always believe that there is always a more courteous way of telling pple what you want in a way which they want to hear it. We can't please everyone but we can't juz offend everyone juz cos of that rite?

A joke may be a joke but what you mean may not be what others percieve it as..... we percieve things differently cos of the fact that we are brought up in different environments and experience different experiences in our lives. You can say that it is your character to be jovial n jokeful but you still have to know your own limit?

Moral of the story, .....test water 1st? can?

U guys should try reading foriegn bike forums where jokes and critics are all over and they play along BUT GOOD INFORMATION AND ADVICES are always all over the forums cos pple are willing to share and yet joke without worries.

I can be call a "SINGAPORE SQUID" by them there saying that i can only go fast on straight yet sotong in corner. I kept quite and accept COS IT"S TRUE. Hurting and insulted But some how true. BUT informations and advices articles are all given without holding back for how not to be one and how to do better on your bike. Isin't that wat we look for in a forum? Learning and FUN as well?

Anyway.

That's just my humble opinion and personal feelings on all these issue.

I won't post anymore on this issue so as not to offend anyone else.

ehhh...........i have something to point out thou..........no offence but u mentioned foreign forum......... that might be the answer to the reason y pple get offended here n not there? Like i said before, different background different experiences..... so the way we react to the same situation will differ. As asians, we tend to be more humble in our ways, it may well be sterotyping but there is a general consensus on that point rite?

Being straight to the point is not wrong but it all depends on the tone like i said. juz like if i were to call a stranger a #%@#%@ the same way as i would say to a gd frend of mine....reactions would be different. Tactful is the word.

Lastly.....we've never mentioned anything about banning IL4....... i've seen his posts in other threads and i know how experienced he is.....thou sometimes his emoticons does drive me nuts......

We should have a cuppa n discuss over this topic sometime.........

There are tech stuff about our bikes in this thread, they are mostly found at the starting pages of this thread..... The back part begins to wander off cos much of the stuff has been mentioned at the front pages. those joined in at the back were more new to our bikes thus do not have that wealth of experience that those whom posted before had.......

But come to think of it, i don't remember seeing alot of crude remarks n jokes in the front pages by those whom have more experience in the bikes.........mabbe should go n read again......
