can adjust, cant rebuild... spoil means spoil..

I just clean up my old Gixxer suspension and found a adjustment point which seems to be neglected by everyone.

Check out the think circled in red. Think that is an adjustment point no one had found. So far I am unable to test out what it adjust cos the Suspension is not mounted on a bike anymore.

There appear to be 4 choice of adjustments.

5k RPM at 40km/h... thats ok wat... dun drag 1st gear lah, unless u racing.. else jus change gear and up... u using a stock pipe or aftermarket? if ur stock pipi is hollowed, then there will be not enuf pressure, causing the bike to respond loudly but little movement at low speed. This one must tune carb according to ur exhaust type..:goodluck:

stock pipe and think is hollowed cos it's like quite loud

anyway hw much would it cost for such tuning thanks.

I remembered washing my carb and retune for abt $80. According to our bros here, they say got different tuning, use mercury balance, digital vacuum balance, But I just simply told my mech I need to retune cos changed exhaust, he tore apart the carb, washed it completely, then fixed it back, balanced the vacuum. Then adjusted the fuel/air ratio w/o problems.. I think my bike is in a ok condition, wont say tip top but at least got enuf power.. Any bro here who saw my bike thinks my bike got prob?...

*PS, i not boasting.. but i tot a fishmonger cant be telling me abt my bike right?.. hee

Yap, 4 point of adjustment. Maybe during next servicing, you guys can try out the various settings. then update us. Seems like a new discovery.

The usual spot where we adjust is to adjust the spring hardest and softness.

Maybe the other point of adjustment is for the shock absorber. But what kind of adjustment....???

Think $300 to $400... depends on condition. For this 1 so jialat, how much it cost.. rarely ? Seen it b4 actually at planet. Its my camp mate's endcan. Its da scatches n da endcan is still in good shape. Btw this still can weld back?

Check out the cost of the repair from Seng kwang. If the total price adds up to roughly the same a a good condition one. Then there is no point in buying. If there is a difference, then it's up to u to weigh.
