may i noe is g4 engine always v. hot? mine la always more than half leh... the temp... wat's the possible prob?

hmm...mine is alright..my temperature is always at around 1/4 gauge...maybe u can check if ur coolant system is functioning properly..or maybe u can try to change to a better coolant...the way to check if ur coolant system is functioning properly is to open ur radiator cap...then throttle ur bike while checking the water level of the coolant at the radiator hole...if ur coolant gets suck in when u throttle and then flow back up when u release throttle..means ur system is working perfectly..hope it helps :thumb:

my top speed was 210. could probably go higher, but i was fighting the handlebars at this point, from 180kmh onwards.

the annoying thing about the speedo was that i was travelling with 2 busas and 1 s4vtec3. they reported that they were travelling at 100, all three of them. my meter showed 90km odd.

analogue meters need to be read, with a pinch of salt. meter inaccuracy was probably because the needle got heavy through the years.

Damn mine was around 190km/hr + with worn clutch plates.

Didn't know the plates were worn out at that time. :cheeky:

Wanted to test it again in malaysia after changing the clutch plates, but there were just too many buses and cars in the way to build up speed.

Thanks for the input Spai duhz

actually it depends on alot of factors also..not only the clutch plates..muz check ur sprocket size..how many teeth...ur top speed can be 240km/hr...but it might take u super long to reach that speed..also abit pointless already..haha..so it depends on whether u want good pick up or good top speed

well bro our bikes are meant to be ridden fast I think minimum speed will be 90km/h. I had an escort for a malay wedding and the convoy was riding like 80km/h from Toa Payoh to Yishun. Upon reaching yishun my bike temperature was like half the meter gauge! Well I guess this applies to all sportsbike.
