i will definitely go for the fullface..if not everytime go pass tp they see my face sure pull me over...check license :cheeky: .. heard for asians it's better to use arai.. as it's a jap brand and the fitting is better for asian heads..(rounder) helmets like mhr agv bla bla ..is mostly designed for european/american heads..(sharper/ovaly)..which wouldn't fit us so well..i guess..so yea i do belive arai is the best!! for full face at least...ive got 2 arais a astro j and a profile..and they have served me well..haha :cheeky:

I think so too for Arai than AGV but I lack the money :'(

this thread helped + convinced me to get FFs. one for my gf, one for myself. mines a flipup though, cuz i cant stand having to remove my specs everytime i put on my helmet. cheers to FFs!

jtzx, i bought my M-Fizz flipup at 120. from ahboy. my gf chose a nicer one. so its a kawasaki FF bought from motoworld. i think 260.

Got bike must ride!

hi i just got my 2b license. wondering if you all think its weird to wear a full face helmet with leather protective jacket on a phantom? because, i happen to have a brand new shoei helmet and dainese jacket from my bro. do you guys think its overkill? like, too racy? i'm 1.85 so can only ride phantom.

After reading this thread i may be seriously considering to buy FF with flip-up visor.

 

Any economic ones to recommend?

 

By any chance it will be hot and difficult to breathe with FF?

better be a wierdo with an intact face & skin,

than one with half face, "bak kwa" for skin. or maybe even worse...

depends on ur budget.. MFizz, Nolan,Caberg, Shoei, AGV.. etc

 

It will definitely be hotter but no issues with breathing..

been wearing flip-ups for slightly lesser den a year..

now suddenly dun feel tat flip ups are safe.

having thought the mechanism might fail.

so.. my advice is..

full face.. at least psb approve..

if budget allows.. get better ones.. shoei, arai, agv..

FF (Full Face) helmets do not allow you to open or flip up your mouth/chin piece below, they are like those helmets u see MotoGP riders wear on TV.

 

Flip-up allows u to 'open' up your helmet for easy wearing and better ventilation when not riding. It basically looks like open face when it's opened up.

ff = full face helmet

 

flip-up helmet = semi full face.

 

 

why not do a yahoo search or look for uncle goggle for answer?

I know there are 'side bars' for Phantoms but are there sliders for Phantom?
