have you heard of the term..manufactuing defect?..handling error?..etc etc..

just saw an advert..dhl..cartons falling all over the places..

once a transport company delivering products ..it fell of the trailer when taking a corner.

the truck driver didnt report it.the coy as well...

has to recall this cargo from the port...so u see new stuff could be bad too...

Toyota..they are the no1..in this category now.

ok.. now testing out with all new bearings.. if all new bearings with new spocket.. that goes to say.. chain is the main problem...

Kindly read thru at least the intro section first before decide to post any comments.... thanks...

that's the correct way to do it. i can't over emphasize on the fact that the chain needs to be degreased and rinsed thoroughly with water (with a hose to jet off the oil) and DRIED before applying lube.

the drying is the most time consuming part, i need to spin the wheel many times while holding the chain with newspapers to make sure its bone dry or else the lube will not stick properly later on.

but wad if my bike dun have main stand, den how to spin de wheel ah? lolx. and oh ya, can i use 2t oil bottle to contain diesel? thanks.

Must see wat solvent u use to clear the grease.. Do u allow the solvent to do it's work before using the brush? Try using diesel.. Use too hard brush may damage the seal of O\X-rings..

can be 2 reasons:

1) the spoil bearing cause the spocket not moving at a single plane.. therefore, the spocket rub against the chain and generate heat.. thus, the sound is caused.

2) the new bearing is spoil again(rare case).

wat rim u using?

1) most likely (malaysia mech told me my hub is spoilt and need to change the entire hub!) that's the wheel... :sian:

2) that's wat i'm thinking.. cannot be spoilt again..

Normal rim.. not spooky.. normal KR riders using.. sport rims?

hi guys.. I've changed new chain and spocket already. now the tuk tuk sound gone.. BUT.. a new sound has arise... it's ding ding ding.. non stop..

High speed maybe my bike too noisy.. thus cannot hear clearly.. but slow speed.. CONFIRM can hear..it's like dragging some stuff.. and once I reached a certain slow speed(8~15km/h).. my footrest both sides viberate ALOT... *like the chain dragging my footrest? kinda of weird..

check your chain slider..made of plastic..maybe worn out making a racket.

some bikes have a plastic roller to prevent the chain from unravel itself after the chain links leaves the front sprocket..

this 2 item may be worn..

hope this helps..

i've ask planet.. they mentioned the vibration and sound is normal.. because the chain is thicker.. of cuz.. not obvious unless you take off your helmet and listen and the vibration can only be notice once you slow down..

Nvm.. I'll try it out one to two weeks again.. :)

thanks mepkoh.. :)

I sounded pretty noob sia.. haha.. :)
