change pipe also need to change jetting... normally jet down for stock engine with aftermarket pipe... lighter pipe and slightly higher hp... results in more petrol saving... the diff is only a few km diff lah...

Yup, if yr bike is jetted properly, yr bike consumption should be better performing then stock pipe!! No joke... Its more efficient = less rev for the same hp = less petrol used..

Unless you do other mods.... Now that's a diff story...

Cheers

yeah i must say that i agree and during scavenging fresh charge also escape to push the exhaust gas out..

Yeah, forggotn to mention the wedging effect.. But the design of the expansion chamber primarily is meant for stopping the fresh charge from leaving the squish at specific tuned rpm.., so not so much of fresh charge is wasted this way (if you're riding at yr powerband) as opposed to tick-over, and WOT conditions..

Talking only the fuel consumption, which is better or no effects at all.

change only the exhaust port angle by FEW degree will effect the fuel consumption?

Which is better to save fuel consumption? change the exhaust port angle or intake port angle better? irregardless of exhaust pipe change

BUT definally not both. i think.

i din know exhaust port angles need to change one leh... timing maybe.... inlet port angles then got ppl change... only that will cos the fuel saving... it really depends on how yr ports r designed...

Generally the shape, size, profile and timing (height) of the exhaust port is meddled around with.. Unless you're designing it for some special application ie to make way for some special pipe etc etc..

Spidey's spot on on the inlet port angle.. But spidey bro forgotten to mention boost port (s) as well.. That will affect yr petrol consumption. But then again, it'll also affect yr powerband.. Generally speaking, when you gain some power derived from port changes (note: not blueprinting), you loose some power somewhere at along the powerband.

So if you're targeting to make it more petrol frenly, you can opt for a more conservative port angle (s).. That'll make yr bike more powerful at lowdown, thus more efficiency, thus better mileage... But then again, why bother to go down this route if you're riding a stroker??!! Power is the way to go! ha!

ps: Why not both? If yr pipe is tuned for a powerband peak of 7k rpm, and yr bike currently peaks at 12K rpm, yo'll be losing s h i t loads of power.. So in this case, you can change yr port timing to suit yr pipe.. But it'll make it go like "Whapppp!" Scram-like.. ha.
