I thought the thread dead already. Haha. Yeah won 6-1 comfortably and i thought Jonas scored before this season? Now we are 8 points clear of 2nd place Nott Forest with a game in hand :cheer:

I've just did a research and Jonas scored before against Peterborough but at that time he did not have his mask with him :lol:

yeah! magpies all the way! back to epl next season hopefully.

 

ur rite, jonas scored for us before this season but that time he didnt celebrate with his mask. maybe dat time he didnt xpect to be scoring. haha.

and against barnsley, maybe by halftime he knew barnsley down to 10 men got chance to score.

Drew 2-2 against Bristol City away. We were 2-0 down but in the 2nd half, The Magpies produced a superb fightback and could have won the game actually. Scorers, Jonas and Carroll.

Yeah i agree on that. We need to improve on our away games. We played the 2nd half pretty well compared to the 1st and i was impressed by Jose Enrique :thumb:

Seriously, that Carroll is causing trouble again. Before this, he was charged for an assault. What is he thinking? Become the next Joey Barton? Although he's on form and scores alot of goals, to me he's just an average player in the championship. His main advantage is mainly his height. I don't mind if he leaves the club. (Martins oh Martins why do you leave us? :( )

 

As for Taylor, he's been out for quite sometime but still Newcastle are doing pretty well with Colo and Hall/Williamson or even the improving Kadar. I think he should not be holding the captaincy role. I prefer it to be Nolan or Harper maybe?

Nolan for captaincy.. love his work rate and hard tackles.

As for carroll, he was just mediocre as shown last season on the big stage.

 

I guess we do need a new striker next season.

 

Best player for me this season goes to Jonas Gutierrez!

Yes, we do need a striker. Probably someone who's a Premier league standard and can bag alot of goals as well. Lovenkrands is fine to me but Best and Ranger need to play more competitive games. As for Ameobi, hmm, i've no clue at all.

 

To me Harper has been outstanding so far. And probably Enrique as well.
