Sunday's Result: QPR 0-1 Newcastle

Scorers: Lovenkrands

 

Newcastle ended the season with a massive 102 points and recorded 30 wins, 12 draws and only 4 losses.

 

 

 

Seems like the Puma Kit isn't bad either :cool:

As an Inter supporter as well, i've always wanted them to achieve some European success and i'm hoping it will come true this season. I still remembered when they were knocked out by Man Utd few years back and i was really disappointed. Inter had just won the Coppa Italia yesterday's night against Roma and now they are left with the Seria A and Champions League. Despite all the controversial and sarcastic comments, i still like Jose Mourinho and Chelsea were wrong to dismiss him.

Roma are also the team that Inter are attempting to put away in the Serie A title race. Mourinho's side have a two-point lead with two games remaining. "This is a team that in any case, whoever guides it, will do well," he said. "Are there any possibilities that I remain? Yes."

 

Inter fans will not be happy to see Mourinho go if he can lead the club to two more trophies this season.

 

"With regards to the scudetto, we will do our duty until the end," Mourinho said. "As I have said many times for us the Champions League should be a dream, not an obsession."

Oh damn.. but this squad looks good for next season. Maybe buy some free transfer players or 1 or 2 during the January window to strengthen the squad.

nice...` lol was watchin a lame comedy "The shouting men" about gillingham FC fans travelling to play against newcastle. I hear that newcastle fans are pretty hardcore..

Kris Boyd is waiting to hear if Newcastle United Football Club are interested in signing him.

 

The Scotland international is out of contract at Rangers this summer, and is therefore available on a free transfer ahead of the 2010-2011 season.

 

This would be ideal for the Magpies, as Chris Hughton has little in the way of funds to spend, and reports suggest Boyd would welcome the chance to talk to the United boss.

 

However, the St James Park club are so far yet to get in touch with the 26-year-old, and could miss out if they don’t act within the space of this month.

 

Birmingham City are believed to have cooled their interest in Boyd, but the player does have options in Turkey should Newcastle decide against offering him a deal.
