Pricing for a XR400?

Mate of mine is selling his XR400 and would like to know what is the pricing like. I think it is a FP plate and COE just renewed.

 

Appreciate all advice. I think he will post in garage sales once he get a feel of the price.

Despite it's age, and old school technology, the XR4 is still quite in demand. A reasonable stock condition bike is about $3.5k. If it comes with fairly new exciting aftermarket parts, then halved the cost of add-ons, to the $3500.

 

Potential buyers would like to see a breakdown of the after-market parts, and photos of the bike will really entice.

 

Consumables such as Engine oils, spark plugs, air-filters are not add-ons, cosmetics upgrades such as seat cover, also no count.

 

Put it up on slackriders.com, it will target at the right crowd.
