good evening fellow s4 riders,

please kindly give your reviews if you have installed it.

also kindly state your bike's model as in V-Tec I or II or III

For Example:

1) How it performs?

2) What difference does it make?

3) Was it worth the money?

4) RPM able to hit red zone without getting cut?

5) Did your top and mid range/end became better?

6)Any ideas on how to improve overall bike performance with Red Rev installed?

7) and more from you guys!

lets all share our experience with one another!

It's not about the power or speed or how fast your ride goes but the time & effort spent to achieve something different

i did feel a surge in power for my spec1 but still not able to whack past the red zone. duno whether is it becos my wirings a mess or whether becos haven do setting

btw i also haf micron full system and PA ignite installed

To my knowledge, Super 4 is restricted by the speedometer. My Spec III is limited at 190km/hr and the bike's curent source is cut off momentarily.

So to my understanding, the RedRev is to remove the bike's limit of 190km/hr and not the rpm.

If I'm wrong, do enlighten on this issue...

I think it's cut by rpm. As I drag 2nd over 12.5k rpm, engine got cut liao.

i did reach 190 before but it takes a while man. but the thing is it's not very constant. and yes, seems like there's some issues clearing the meter for me.

I also have problems getting past the red Zone. But did magaged to clear my meter though, with the help of the device.

wow thats cool!! but whats the so called " new limit " with the current

Red Rev installed in your bike. heheh very curious man..

yes my friend! thats what it's means =D as long as that small little

thing goes past your bike's speedo meter max speed indicated there.

of cos clearing meter means that to some of us i suppose?

but imagine if it could go an extra 1 round  that to me will

be like really clear the whole meter. :lovestruck:

same same!! sigh seems like even with the Red Rev installed

we can never slove that issue :(

Using RedRev to bypass top speed limit is good enough. I don't see any point in bypassing the rpm limit. RPM limit is there to prevent you from over revving your engine, it is best to leave it as it is.

from my xperiance, usually when i hit the 190kph mark, the rpm is already at 12k....if i were to open throttle more n increase the rpm to increase the speed, den the power cut come into effect.the bike tends to jerk as if its dying.

i read somewhere online regarding dis power cut issue for vtec1(which im riding),there is a way to remove this power cut thingy.its says that the power cut can be removed if u remove the fuse of ur lightings.meaning to say you'll be riding without any lights.

i've never tried dis before coz from my understanding,if i were to remove that particular fuse, not only my lights wont light up but the speedo needles also wont move.so i dun find it practical to ride and test my bike without knowing the speed.

so i'm also still finding an alternative way of removing the power cut when i came across this red rev thingy.thou i haven't had it in my bike yet,i believe dis red rev thingy is just plug n play like the power abuser.but to those who have installed this red rev and cant go past the speed cut limiter,is your bike electricals grounded?if this thing is just plug n play then no tuning shud be needed for its effect to take place.maybe those that have installed this red rev and has grounding done on their bike can shed more info....

:thumb::thumb::thumb: well said my friend! =D yes yes!! anyone can share more info cos i believe some of us ( ESP ME ) would like to drag the bike without the RPM getting cut giving the " sluggish " feel when in the red zone. well maybe it's just me though =X

not to mention its dangerous riding without lights.. esp at such speeds..

Like wat is mentioned above, the red rev is just to de-limit your speed at 190km/h. So your mods + red rev have got to be done in order to achieve more than 190km/h. To have more power and final drive ration to achieve the >190km/h speed.

wow... i sayang my bike la dare not go past 120km/h... hahaha...

It is actually not healthy not to high rev your bike engine. Causes a lot of carbon build up. Our bike engines are designed for high revving.

i couldn't agree more.. esp when you see another s4 / cbr400 looking at you & rev-in their babies during a traffic stop.

CBR400 and CB400 belong to 2 different leagues. And so is the RVF400. But if you got the guts to play, on SG roads a CB400 can outrun some CB400 and RVF400. I've seen quite a few...

Bro just curious how much hp does your bike make on the dyno?

Your ride is by far the most well maintained ride I have seen. Kilat man!
