Singapore gang. I'd gave Doc Dol a schedule page inside sepangcircuit.com for MSS round 5 schedule as per what he posted. But as you all know, round 5 is coinciding with MotoGP, thus they will need to approve that. Our Race management team at SIC just received a revise version which they sent yesterday. Click here.

It was a crazy and tough weekend for most of the Supersports 600 riders. Having the race combined with the Superbikes 1000/Superstock 1000 with a total of 58 bikes on the Grid.

In Race 1 on Saturday, most of the crashes are between the 600 and the 1000 trying to overtake each other. It is definitely not to the advantage of the 600 with Sepang having 2 very long straight back to back. We saw M'sian Ahmad Faiz (R6) line being closed by 1000 rider and he crashed during opening lap. Our local novice hero Alseri aka AS Junior from HKL and Azmi aka Ohlins from UMA both are involved in crash with another 1000 rider. Team Looi's riders Md Suhaimi had a high speed crash at turn 6 while thrying to take on 1000cc rider. While team mate Claudio Bizzoni crash was also due to another incident with a 1000cc rider. Team Bikelab Amba crash was the most spectacular one which i belive was also due to another 1000cc rider. Amba's R6 doin a frestyling on the air at the end of Front Straight. Im sure Amba will upload that video on his FB once he get hold of the race DVD. All the above did not finish and thankfully they escaped major injury. Im also involved in a crash during race 1 while holding 3rd in Supersports, a Msian rider on a R1 slam on my rear wheel on the final lap at the very last corner. The impact was so strong that the top front of the R1 came off. Both our bike get stuck and it take quite a while for the marshall to seperate the bike then i managed to start the bike and ride it to finish line on 1 gear to take 10th place in Supersports. Anyway the main highlights for Race 1 goes to Kuhara of Team HKL CBR1000 for comfortably winning race 1 and also to Team Bikelab Aussie import rider, Charles Hern (R6) on winning the SuperSports and giving the 1000 a good run while he also finish 4th overall in the race. My congrates goes to them. We shud be proud of them as they raced for Singapore based team.

In Race 2 on Sunday, most of our local riders that crashed managed to get their bike repaired and be on the grid except for Amba from Team Bikelab and Claudio from Team Looi's. I was able to get my bike on the grid too but with a penalty for changing my rear tyre. I was put on grid 58 (last) for changing my rear tyre in race 2. The rear tyre was torn due to the crash in race 1. Having a WET race 2 with 50+ bike on the Grid was the most scary race in my life. As expected, there were quite a few crashes but the race was won by Msian Abd Rahim Sidek the rain master on a GSXR1000 K8 while Kuhara Team HKL managed 2nd. Team Bikelab Charles Hern (R6) still won the Supersports Category while also finishing 8th in the race. Although it was scary, i managed to finish 2nd in SuperSports and 14th in the race. Thankfully in Race 2 non of our local rider crash.

In the 2009 Overall Standing saw Kuhara of Team HKL crowned Champion

Alseri of Team HKL finished 2nd Overall in the SuperSports Novice Category

Yusran Yahya of Team Motoworld finished 3rd Overall in Supersports Novice

Azmi of UMA racing team takes 4th Overall in SuperSports Novice

Martin Poh of Team Motovation takes 4th Overall in the SuperStocks Category.. Shaiful Bahari of Team Looi's takes 3rd Overall in SuperSports Open Category.

Thru my understanding, 2009 saw the most award goes to Singaporean team. Lets hope we build this up and improve further:thumb:

Cheers

Thank you to Looi's Motor for the Major Sponsor to the Team. This year saw at least 2 crashes each from the team members and the repair bills was supported by Looi's Motor. Also, without the spare parts that Looi's provide to us for the race, we might not be able to start the race after a crash. The one and only Mechanic Ah Yong that work tiredless on the bike at Sepang.

Thank you to GMAX for the wonderful LeoVince Exhaust System and Berik Suit. Since wearing Berik, we had crashes and escaped unhurt. Some of the crashes are high speed in excess of 150km/h. We hope Berik will continue to Sponsor the Team next season.

Thank you to Maxima Oil. The Maxima Extra has proven to it capabilities. In the race, almost every lap we over-rev the engine towards the braking maker, and Maxima has proven to hold the engine. The supplies of their Brake Cleaner and Chain Cleaner was a bonus for the maintainence of our bike. My favourite is Maxima Racing Brake Fluid. The brake fluid really has no effect on brake fading. We hope Maxima will continue their support to Team Looi's.

Thank you to Team HKL for their technical and mechanical support. Ah Xiong and his crew tiredlessly working on our bike whenever we need assistance in solving problems on technical issue. Thier professionalism shows that although from the different team, they still lend their support to those who needed it.

Thank you to all frens who came up to assist the team thru-out the season.

Cheers

I think with so many crashes..you guys must go 'bang table' to split the 1 litre from the 600. It's a miracle that Amba survive this crash! I was at the media room when i saw it happen..the bike got wings!
