Hi peeps

I searched the Internet and found 2 hots prings listed in Johor... Labis hot spring and Grisek hot spring. Has anyone been there?

Do you have:

* the GPS coordinates?

* feedback or review on the sites?

* more detailed information on how to get there?

1) Labis Hot Spring (Segamat)

To get here, head for Yong Peng town or Segamat town. From Yong Peng, travel north along the trunk road to Labis. From Segamat, travel southeast to Labis town. It is a further 10km from Labis to reach the hot spring

labis town is about 60km north of yong peng, add another 10km from labis to hot spring... total about 160km from GP esso. about 20+km further in from labis, there's a 39ft tall labis waterfall. melaka is about 120km from labis town.

2) Sungei Grisek Hot Spring (Muar)

The nearest town is Batu Pahat (23km). From the North South Expressway (NSE), take the Ayer Hitam exit (Interchange 244) onto highway 50 that will lead you to Batu Pahat. From Batu Pahat town, travel north-west passing Semerah. At Sungai Balang, take a right turn and drive on for about 4km and you will reach the Grisek Hotspring.

its bout 150km up from GP esso (approx 2hrs), probably good for a grisek-melaka 2D1N trip :thumb:

I've been to the labis hot spring. Facilities are pretty basic, its just two small pools with hot and hotter water, a toilet and a small drinks/snack stall. Its a nice ride there though.

Can't help you with getting there cos I didn't lead the way + I have no GPS.

I've been to Labis too. Nice ride ... not too far (less than 2 hrs) and only M$1 for bikes. Remember to go on weekends (sat n sun wholeday). weekdays just in the evening. basic but adequate facilities. water is hot! especially the first pool.

Labis hot spring entrance fee is 1Rm per person, try going in the morning during sat, as not much ppl are there, but if u head in at peak period prepare for sandwich pack sitting....

The place is generally clean if u go during off peak period, but it gets slightly dirty once its peak, and i mean toilet cleanliness....anyway juz take note of ur belongings as no lockers are provided, there is bathing facilities so bring ur own shampoo and towels....

PM me for the photos if u wan, i can show u how it looks like as well as GPS POI....

Cheers!

Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you'll be able to see farther.
