this game is suppose to launch in SG 16 more days.. but i already start playing is really awesome!!

 

but personally found that u need a bigger display card to "create" better graphics.. looks like i have to burn my pocket again

well. ps2 for nfs carbon totaly sucks imo. if its a ps3 it will be a super thumbs up. why not invest on a ps3 when will it be releasing huh? ps3 in us its nov17 hw bout sg. they always miss out sg.

i didnt tried carbon but tried most wanted. my pc performed much more better... using sapphire radeon x700 256mb pciex card with 1gb ddr2 ram. well. for nfs carbon the best platform to play is on pc la. those playing on ps2 u can get the vibration as feel. but i dont think carbon is releasing on ps2. hmm ps 3 i think for the console it will cost $900sgd. theres 2 version 1 with wifi n 60gb n another without wifi n 20gb internal hdd.

but for ps3. the quality of graphics will be superb. and u get to play alot of games which are not release on pc. like FF13. FF12 on ps2 is great FF13 will be even greater.

 

its up to individuals i say. u can spend $1.5k on a new exhaust system or $1.5k that can hook u up at home for months. :cheeky:

Man.. thats a BIG price to pay for a SMALL entertainment. Maybe i shall wait till the price drop. Neways, tried Carbon on PS2... gameplay wise, not bad. A little graphics and handling improvement compared to Most Wanted.

But if you guys into Drift Racing, let me recommend Fast & Furious. The drift is more challenging and you can learn various techniques to drift... Enjoy!!

thats long.. its releasing in us nov 17 with retailing prices of USD$499 n USD$599 .. take so long to come to sg. zzz.

 

pencapchew: its just for those game lovers who want to play games all these ect. for those not very hardcore fan can wait longer when maybe ps3 modded version n pirated games are avail then buy.

Apparently this game crashes into a BSOD on widescreen laptops when you try to run it... or rather so far it's proven on Acer laptops.. anyone with a widescreen laptop running it fine?

after PS3 release, must wait for around a year n let it stable when the set is ready for modifield to play copy game than buy lo...i heard the game is out before the set(PS3). and the game is not dvd is other format de so must wait for expert to crack the dise in order to have copy games... i thing Jap n Usa ppl start playing liao hee hee ......if singapore lucky enough,next year (2007)christmas present will be a PS3 wah haha hope my info helps.....

is ur display card that crashed the game. not your screen

there is always graphic card compability issue on EA games

i still remember when Battle Field 2 lauch..it make me spend 800+ for my 7800GT display card

I have no problems running other EA games.. btw my laptop is using ATI Mobility Radeon X1400.
