Helmet

Hi there,

Has any of you experienced the noise circulating inside your helmet??

I got a "simple" helmet and when I ride (facing forward) it s like the noise goes around in my helmet and it sounds like there is a small storm going on .If I turned my head to the right or left the noise disappears!!!

Any comment on this? Would this be avoided if I bought a better helmet?

that's the wind turbulence from the wind that flows via the sides of your face in the helmet.

usually happens to open face helmets.

happens to full/flipup with front vents open.

 

either get better sponge, or wear ear plugs.
