true true.. i can imagine that.. sometimes it feels so much lighter that like can just lift up my kr with my bare hands.. ahaha..

 

 

 

 

 

mine is 08 but my fork is not gold.. dont know whether is it true that 08 are gold.. but gold fork is nicer in my opinion..

im also the 3rd owner of my bike.. but i find it absolutely ok.. the previous owners had done good job taking care of the bike..

 

and also i bought my bike in march when my 21st birthday is on april.. 3days after i passed my class2.. i just cannot wait!! ahaha..

and expected.. my insurance like bomb like that..

 

see your log card and you will know? yours is a 08 model, paintwork is mistral grey instead of glossy black, plus R1 sticker is gold in color instead of white. Gold fork not necessary. your tailboard will have the ycct or ycci i forgot which is it.

wah if im you i would have wait till april. insurance TPFT $2.2k is way too exp. you could have got it around $1.5k 0% NCD if you're patient. $700 can do things to your bike at least. HAHA

yeah.. i admit this is one of the admin mistake that i made.. my kr insurance have got 20% NCD.. but to use it on r1 i have to cancel off the insurance of my kr and bring it over.. but i did not do that cos i wanted to keep my kr.. if not it will be cheaper..

 

but it will be 700bucks cheaper? i never expect it to be so much.. cos from what i heard the difference between 21yo or not is like 300 to 400dollars difference.. thats why..

Hello R1ders! Me seeking advise from R1 experts. I'm thinking of getting an 04 R1 that comes with gpr thunderline exhaust. It's selling for 12.8k. Obviously condition look gd superficially but I'd still expect some occasional problems with the bike few mths down the road despite shop claiming low mileage. My concern is for that price, mods n since it's an 04 model, wld it be worth it? Is that an ok price? Think i shd ask if exhaust got street legal cert from LTA right? Anything else i shd be mindful of? COE till 2015. Appreciate any replies. Thanks in advance!

Lucky i didnt go ahead and buy after i went over there again today...the boss' lackadaisical attitude when i asked some questions put me off instantly.

 

Wengz, bike production was whr i got my first bike, not so keen to return there in search for a superbike now. Lol.

But like very hard to find reasonably priced 2nd hand superbikes nowadays. Searching for 6mths liao.....
