That termi y-pipe must be made of solid gold. Thats a ludicrous price.

Since everyone is interested in y-pipes - I got an offer:

 

2009/2010/2011/2012 R1 Y-Pipe at $450 - and Ill throw in the exhaust for free!

 

 

This system is as illegal as underage sex, and sounds twice as good.

The aural symphony will move you beyond words.

It makes an Akra or Leo Vince sounds like a crying baby.

 

It installs in a jiffy, all parts slid in

There are some scuffs on the edges (see pictures).

There are some heat marks, however this can be removed with some elbow grease.

 

Note that this is 3/4 system - the Y-pipe is included.

This is as good as a full-system.

I would very much like to own an R1 which would most likely be the 07-08 model.

 

However all of my friends (current/ex R1 riders) have complained about the heat problem. It seems that they say the heat is very unbearable as the mid pipe is below the seat. Their balls are always sweaty after the ride.

 

Is there any ways that can lessen the heat problem? I would like to own this piece of beast despite common problems (like magnetic coil, throttle body) that have not deter me from buying.
