should be the later models of 09 and above.. TC ... power modes....but then again the gd old carb are the best for me :)

Unfortunately these are very common issues like stators or coil problems.... some say need gd e.o to cool .... changing of batt frequent.....

Some owners like very bright lights and install 4 HIDs....Might be of an issue...

hi there allz im new to R1...any tips as juz took over my brother as he go oversea n none to look after his bike ...im not used to road big bikes as im more to dirt.appreciates if can giv tips to maintain and suggestions>>>>>>oh ya its a R1 03-04 not sure its FX plate...cheerz

03 are the side endcans and 04 are the twin endcans under seat. so which one is your belong to?

Hi guys I have a problem today morning my bike could not start…when I press the ignition I hear some kind of funny sound near the seat area…but my signal lights are working fine…does anyone know wat is the problem…is it the batt or is it the ignition? Mine is a12 model…

Hi guys, My bike cannot start. When i check the voltage across th batt is abouth 11.33v. When i turn on the bike the voltage is about 10 plus and whem i press the ignition the voltage drops to 5 plus.. so is it batt problem or starter motor prob

should be battery problem which maybe linked to rectifier .... starter motor no problem if u can hear the cranking sound before u encounter this problem.

so there is a chance for the rectifier to be faulty?
