Fellow Super Fourians, I would like to start this thread with response to the popularity of the BlueFlame EVO end-can among riders.

 

Also to discuss and review the BlueFlame end-cans in this thread, maybe organise gatherings, outings and maybe touring. So we may get to know one another within this small yet expanding BlueFlame community.

Blueflame is simply fantastic. Performance. And the sound... my neighbours must be loving it!!

Oh hi Fir...

 

Well, here's my review of the BlueFlame can:

 

Initially I wanted the single port with carbon tip but LTA didn't want to approve at the last minute. I felt that all was lost. Some weeks later, there was this green Fireblade 400 that was fitted with the BlueFlame. Nice sound when it was running on idle and I blipped the throttle.

 

"OK on, I'm getting the dual-port..."

 

I decided on the cheapest which is the stainless steel sleeve. I was told by Equipment Extreme that there was no stock for stainless steel and I had to wait. Unless I top up a bit more and I get the satin black finish which is a relatively new finish out there in the market. I immediately topped it up and got it fixed.

 

I loved the sound, the response and the different look of the satin black sleeve. So far, have rode side by side with Yoshi Tri-Oval FS & bolt-on, Mori Shorty FS & Long FS, GPR bolt-on, I heard the BlueFlame is louder (maybe cos I'm closer to my own BlueFlame). The sound coming from the BlueFlame is also unique compare to the other aftermarket end-cans or FS. The sound is simply ORGASMIC. Hehehaha~!

 

I'm now on my 5th full-tank of petrol. Always filled my ride with Petronas Primax3 (97 Octane) or Caltex Techron 95 (when top-up in SGP). Since my 3rd full-tank, I'm able to achieve an average of a !!whopping!! 25km/l adding up to about 450 km each full tank!

Riding pattern:

50% Expressway

50% Urban

Shifting between 4-5K rpm

Expressway averaging 100-110 km/hr

 

Ever since I fitted my ride with the BlueFlame, my idling rpm hardly fluctuates. Even if it does, it's barely noticeable just like its a Fuel Injection bike. Nice low grunt during idle. Pick-up power from mid-range is simply torquey.

 

So far, I have no other mods except for PiperCross air filter and laden with heavy accessories; Mainstand, side panniers on WingRack and a relatively heavy rider (BMI : 28.1).

 

Hahahaha~!

 

Well, that's all for now... I'm stil monitoring my f/c. Awaiting reviews from other owners. Ride safe and have fun peepz~!

Well, wat I see from the pic in the net, is exactly the same as wat I got. BlueFlame really emphasize on quality finish.

Any one compared blueflame endcan with yoshi endcan in terms of power? which one u pple think got more power? i tried and tested both cans, personally i feel yoshi has more power more feeling... but still i wanna know u pple opinion...

if u are testing 2 cans on 2 bike, the result will be different. Understand that u are using yoshi now maybe u can ask Bro Big Dog. He has been using yoshi for a period of time before he switch to blueflame. After all it still individual preference

Before BlueFlame end-can I'm able to clock ard 430km full tank. Usually ard 360 will hit reserve.

where to get, legal or not and bla bla bla.

no surprise if ppl tot dis is illegal, coz the pipe roars.

 

btw bro, u got hodaka headers rite?

ayie125z, racing_tech already highlighted u tat it will b of individual preference. If u think tat yoshi is better, just go for it. This is a blueflame thread n of cos those in here will prefer blueflame...

d tag wif evo wording is d older tag. d newer 1s comes in either oval logo or jus d fire logo. d older cans r still d same as d new 1s in sound n performance.
