John's right for the rear tyre profile.

180/55 does wonder in turns of flicking the TLR into a corner coz of its triangular profile.

But that was the time when 180/55 were the only solution. An article in PB magazine by the editors trying to solve the TLS tankslapping problem came up with several solutions, one of them being a change to 180/55.

Now with Metzeler and Bridgestone coming out with 190/55 profiles, I'm still deciding if 190/55 is the better solution. Some in TLP say 190/55 is worth the money for the same flick-ability with the straight-line stability of a 190.

As for tail-raising, I'm not sure. But for me, I'm concerned for any structural stress caused when I pillion my wife-to-be. Our combined weight is rather astonishing...

If you guys are interested... I have been to a Mechanic, Rosli at Blk 1067 Eunos... behind the SingPost bldg... he's got the 4mm spacers for the TLR (Gixxer).. that will raise the TILLER's rear by about 10 or 12mm (on TLPlanet, they told me it raises the TLR by 1:3 ratio (ie: 4mm = 12mm height increase) but measured on my Gixxer the 4mm spacer raised mine tail by 10mm)... this will change your steering geometry by about 1/2 degree... that means for eg: my gixxer steering angle changes from 24.1 to 23.6 degree... steeper and bike flicks better... high speed stability not affected.

Do it for the Tiller, will improve your handling..... as you will also notice that changing from 190/50 to 180/55 rear tyre (raises the tail by 4mm, due to the taller 180/55 tyre) improves the TLR handling... so this method of tailrasing is not cosmetic only but beneficial.

how much are the spacers??

ahhahah!

I've already attracted a few attention.

While responding to an case at a serviced residence at Liang Court, I throttled rather too hard and the valets in front of the new Ministry of Sound all crowded ard and stared at me as I passed by.

kekekek.

These pipes are a real attention-getter.
