Hi fellow forumers,

I knoe I shouldn't have started this kind of thread again n again as there are just too many..but I have no choice but really need to seek some advise and help from u all here...

If you are NOT caught by road block patrol car or TP while riding but is by one *** *** rider who spotted you riding the same bike as him and eventually called the police as he think dat you scratched his bike...(the suey guy was entering into his house carpark when he saw the *** *** rider)

Unfortunately, the suey guy has no valid licence and was referred to tp...(police side no case)..wat will the consequence be?? will TP still charge him as he has no valid licence??...but once again i stress that he is not caught by any road block patrol car or TP but is only seen by this *** *** rider and it is ONLY during the questioning by police that the suey guy revealed that he has no valid licence..

Happened to a friend..:cry: and really want to help him..so would like to seek any advise from experience riders here..thanks a lot..

When I hear liao..quite poor thing lei..so really hope u guys especially experienced riders can provide some help if u have encountered this before... thanks a lot...

questioning by the police? o.0

i doubt there would be any allowance given, the punishment meted out should be equal to those caught riding w/o license

..regardless of how his riding was discovered.

whos bike is it? the owner may also get into trouble if he was the one who allowed ur fren to ride it.

baby, u're my love..

if someone lend a friend the bike to ride and get caught...

the owner will be asked if ur frien has stole the bike. if the bike is sold. its jailtime for ur frien. if owner say lend... owner will get a fine as well.

as for the rider who got caught. suspension of licenses no matter what classes and not more then 2.5k fine...

Totally agree with u Bernard... Many years back, my little cousin was killed at the pedestrian crossing after being ran over by a biker without valid licence and worst still, bike had no insurance. So cannot claim anything.

This type of people should get no sympathy for going to jail... and stay there !!

ok perhaps im being a bit unclear..this fren of mine is actually riding HIS own bike and not mine and on the way back to his house carpark, there is also another rider at another end of the carpark..For no apparant reason this rider started to follow my fren to the carpark my fren park..

Later he start telling my fren that his bike was scratched..my fren told him dat his bike kana scratched look for him for wat and it has nothing to do wit him (anyways both my fren and the rider are riding the same model bike...)...After arguing with no vulgarities, the rider decided to call the police...

Upon arrival of 2 police officers, one of the officer bagan to ask my fren after he had the conversation wit the other party if the bike he was riding belong to his..my fren said yes but it was really his... but when asked about if he has a valid licence, my fren answered no and he told the officer that the bike is also currently under lay up..but my fren also explain to the officer that he actually got his own bike, and if some one did such a thing to his bike, how would he feel, so there is no way dat he will do this to someone else...the officer nodded and fully understands..

After waiting for a while, the officer said that there is no civil case and my fren was given only verbal warning not to ride out in future... as my fren did not scratch the other party bike and that fellow also never see it wit his own eyes who did the scratches..he only claim it on his own..therefore no case..

However,my fren was informed from the officer that the case will be referred to the TP and he has to wait for the reply from TP..and maybe like after 2 weeks or a month, if no reply from TP will mean no case..dat is wat the officer told him.. dun noe if it is dat simple...(dat y in my 1st post I mentioned dat my fren was not spotted by any road block patrol car or TP officers...it was oni seen my dat rider)..

So, I am checking in this forum for such a situation...wat will the consequences be like..Will he still get charged by TP or will my fren get a very stern warning...

I am sorry for not telling the story abit clearer..but this fren of mine is my childhood and very close fren..I cant bear to leave him in the lurch ar..so this is the reason why im posting this here asking wat will the consequences be like if u guys have/have not encountered such a situation before...like i mentioned earlier, he was not seen by any officers ar...

Dat why i say my fren suey..come back, go to house carpark kana like dat..other people scratch d fellow bike, my fren kana...

Im really sorry to say for you that majority here will plead to the TP that your fren get charge.

It doesnt really matter if the story is clear or unclear. We knw you are trying to source for a solution but i can dare tell you that there isnt and i believe no one here will help in such cases so dun waste your effort.

And also it is very clear your fren got no licence.

Dat why i say my fren suey..come back, go to house carpark kana like dat..other people scratch d fellow bike, my fren kana...

Your fren suay is not becos of other ppl scratched bike. Its becos he no licence. So dun blame it on others. And im very glad that the fellow approach your fren frankly. Cos if not, your fren will be still riding without licence and endangering others like old folks, young kids, pregnant woman, and even cats and dogs.

your friend admit to the police that the bike is his and he got no license, but did your friend confess to whether did he ride the bike or not?

but even if the TP don't charge him, your friend should know and understand that he is wrong in the first place. riding a lay up bike, riding without insurance and road tax should not be committed in the first place. esp so that its the rainy season now. being inexperience, what if he cause some accident? it's gonna create a big trouble and lots of inconvenience to the involved parties.

if he's so desperate to ride, better to go book for revision lessons in the driving center and get ready for tp right? you can say he is a safe rider or whatsoever, but the fact that he is holding on to the PDL means he is not qualified to ride alone on the road yet.

if you dont want to leave him in the lurch, the best way in my opinion is to start saving money now. help pay for his hefty fine. if he never get charge, use the money for a scrumptious meal and remind him NEVER to do that again.

well, i am really curious about one thing tho. i find it odd that the man will question/think your friend scratch his bike JUST because they ride the same make of bike?

The police no need him to confess also can tell by the heated engine once he reach the spot. And actually a laid up bike not suppose to even move its location. If checked, it will be confiscated.

My tots exactly too. Who in the correct mind will question another person if he scratches his bike. And why your fren? Like that a Super 4 kana scratch then the owner will be very busy asking ard already.

Quite weird eh why does the other rider think that the person who scratched his bike rides the same model bike? Or is even a rider at all? So if a Ferrari or MV Agusta is scratched sure very easy to find the culprit...

I suppose there is a chance they won't press charges because they will have to obtain evidence from your friend and the rider himself. If they charge maybe your friend should retain a lawyer. Might not be a cut and dried case.

Your little cousin is ready the poor thing, not the one who w/o licence ride a lay up bike.

It is such bikers' action that make bikers 2nd class and a bad name. To degrade ourselves further, many asked for help after committing such irresponsible act, with little remorse.

Having PDL and yet commit such act. Wonder what happened when got licence - don't matter if it is car park or road block.

Wat abt warm tyre?

i agree...people without other class of license will be tempted to ride it...

but for mature and responsible...they woudn't be so silly to do it...and risk other class of license they have....

so why need to warm tyre ler?

The only reason why I'm not laughing with you is that I prefer laughing at you.
