Woohoo. No white card for another 365 days.

 

Renewed my Macs at 1st link.

 

Felt much more safer than the first time at 2nd link.

 

At least at first link you can see your bike when you are waiting outside the office.

 

Plus the heavy flow of bikes. It is impossible to stand next my bike to steal or whatever.

 

Climbed the mini bridge. Turn left after entering the first door. Should see a big sign that says MACS. Take off shoe. Pass RM30 and passport. Wait outside for 10min. Ho seh liao.

Just an update, I went to renew my MACs at second link yday morning. The counter has a new sign saying it's only available between 0700-1800 Daily. Please note the change in operational hours. Also, they willl be CLOSED between 8 and 11 Aug for Hari Raya.

For renewals, do they take up another full page? Real estate in my passport is in short supply.

 

Yes. They will stamp cancelled in the expired MAC and paste the new one on the next page.

What do you mean? Cable disconnected unable to do mac or temporary?

If you're going by bus, after you reached the customs bus-stop, you have to take the escalator up to clear the malaysians custom, however instead of going straight to the counters, after you come up by the escalators you will see a MACS office. They don't require any forms or what, just 30 ringgit and your passport will do (13 months validity)

Dec 03 2014 - Class 2A (2nd attempt :mad:)

 

Feb 2 2016 - Class 2 (1st attempt)

I forgot bro, as I renewed in April. Just to be safe, avoid coming between 12-2pm. I did not wait, as I did not trust their lunch hour to end on time. So I just pumped petrol and came the following week instead.

Saturday to Thursday:

 

0700 HRS to 1330 HRS

1400 HRS to 1745 HRS

 

Friday:

 

0700 HRS to 1400 HRS

1445 HRS to 1745 HRS

July 18 2013 - Class 2B (1st time pass)

 

Dec 03 2014 - Class 2A (2nd attempt :mad:)

I know you are able to renew your MACS in a office in Orchard Parade Hotel named Third Link and they

charge a whopping S$35 to renew instead of RM35 in JB CIQ.

SORRY CY, no renewal at CIQ anymore unless you have a permanent address in JB which you own. Die die , orchard. but if the way they work there like that, I hope they will be forced to close down. but from now i see the demand is there. maybe we should all boycot so that Malaysia governement will change back to the old ways
