For me, when I cruise between 80 -100kmh, my fuel consumption would be around 21L - 23L if I use 5th gear. But when got pillion, it would be between 20L - 22L already.

Dear Sir.

With no offence, is this figure always or sometimes only? A 1300 cc beast to have such a fuel consumption is really a miracle. It is as good as 400cc bike, with current petrol prices, this will be another selling point of STX13, but I read from reviews that FJR has better fuel consumption.

People ask me, "Why ride bike?" I ask them back :"Why drive car?"

I feel that if you ride a 1.3L bike, it is more important that you enjoy the ride. If one is so concerned whether a 1.3L bike consumes 18 pr 20 km/l, would it not be better to ride a Honda Cub which gives you about 200 km with 5 litres.

At the end of the day, it is what you want.

Bro,

Care to share location where it was stolen? May shed some light. Who the hell wan to steal a beast knowing that there is a fixed number of these beasts around in Singapore. I'm sure u made a polce report as red STs are limited, even leaving the country could be a problem. I am sure it is still in SGP. Will keep a lookout and will tell others to have a look too.

Guess I have to lock my wheels too by having a padlock on the disc plates, so that the oni way is to carry my 320kg beast. Not impossible to steal but sure as hell will giv them a lot of sweat to take it away. Cheers!

Keynes,

if you're scouting... u may wanna check a white FV plate beaST at Wing Fatt, Sims Ave. However, I m not sure abt the condition of the bike... just happen to saw it when I rode past the bike shop...

:)

BRo,

Yeah saw the white beast at Wing Fuat, Blk 51 i think in Sims Ave, the oni mcycle shop there. It is a TP model. There are a few others in his workshop in Ubi, a few turquoise ones, all the mileage are below 100,000. Hope that helps. Cheers!

:thumb: Tks Simon for sync my carb on the 17th. The engine response was good. Also abt the technique for lifting to main stand, I'm still learning though. Give me some time to master it. I see u guys lift the machine like nothing....I paid the price for having my left arm aching the next day. Hahaha..wrong technique use. Again, tks Simon, for sharing your knowledge with us. I did really learn new thing. SMS me again Bang when u wan to do 'Operation ST' again!

:cheer:

Bro,

We met at LC, me the small melayu la. Glad u like the group. And yes, it takes time to master the art of putting the ST on the main stand. Dropped it while trying and was even forced to practice by uncle Jerry and the motley crew. Even lifting it from a felled ST, kindly allowed by Norman i Think heehee.

A lot of things has to be considered and everything has to pre planned before parking with our beast, the thing I neber tot of doing before. Hope u enjoy ur BEAST as I do. Cheers!

chinu,

dun be dishearten, lets hope for the best.

guys,

please help to keep a lookout for him, if u happen to see it OTR dun attempt to confront whoever is riding on it. get something sharp enough to cut the ignition wires beneath throttle area near front tank area, it will disable the bike from moving to another location.
