Hi simon, how come this forum is so quiet???

kailong,

dont know leh... but quiet doesnt mean no ppl around right..?

bascially most of us here we have no habit of noisy thread or show-off impressive type-posting skill behind the screen. what we concern r the texts inputed in it should be somehow useful or helpful to others around who visited this thread.

we dont boast, our continuance of sharing knowledge r base on within our best of knowledge, thats our objective.

Hi, tks for your direction to the motorshop.

Ya, that shop got the STX and FJR of my favour colour, but is not a very good deal as compared to my finding...

I bought a dull green 2003 STX at loois motor, mileage is 20K, OTR for me is 17.5k.

Think is a much more better deal for me...

Anyway hope to see you soon on your beloved STs...

Hm... about why the thread so quiet....I assumed it to be this way.Correct me if I am wrong.

Our St1100 had been in the market for maybe near 2 decades, I presumed the majority of the st owners are above 30s or even older. And mostly importantly, mostly are married.Of course there would be exception of 25+-.

I am 35 myself. At this 'prime'age, so called crossing the line to middle age,we would have many other commitments(family, work, children etc) and some are quite bothering.....

So we are pre occupied by other mandatory affairs that need our attentions. As such, we could not afford to have much time for our hobbies(riding,fishing....or whatever hobbies of each individual),let alone typing long and "bascially most of us here we have no habit of noisy thread or show-off impressive type-posting skill behind the screen. what we concern r the texts inputed in it should be somehow useful or helpful to others around who visited this thread." that what bro Simon had mentioned. Mainly due to our age and mindset.

I recalled I first joined bike forum in 1999, I was 27 then and still single.I was quite active then in the postings and almost everyday TCSS(tok c*** sing song) just for the purposes of postings and i do admit that I do engage in words war with else one also for the sake of posting....

Now I am more committed towards my family and work. As such, it could be the reason I am not active in postings and outing......

Just for sharings.....

What is MHS...

MHS means Mae Hong Song, Cambodia, most tour riders challenge and beautiful sceneries to achieve. I have yet to reach there but its my THIS year's target in Dec 2007 on my beloved Beast or ST.

Sorry for the late PM, now u will understand as to why this forum is quiet. Another reason u can add is by now u should be acquainted to the more specific website to join. Usually most are directed there for service & support. U choose which is comfortable to u bcoz in the group, they will have a wealth of knowledge that could save u heaps if u din know. Plus going touring with them, feels good when u hv a dozen Sts or STxs travelling together to a destination that is far.

Hope to meet up one day. Cheers!:thumb:

razsurfer67,

MHS not in Cambodia lah..

'Mae Hong Son' aka MHS is a in-deep mountainous province located in northern Thailand, to get there by road u need to go thru the curves, the real CURVES...! :D

:slapforehead: I myself off-topic..! :D

I still have it inside my store collect dust, who want to have it..??

sorry for the delay, this is how it look like. ;)

http://picturesky.com/albums/userpics/10859/normal_IMG_0092.JPG

all u need to do is fix it under ur handle bar & clamp it with longer screws(as shown) together with ur original clamp..thats it. ;)

no need to replace any other parts to accomodate it's height.

** Dont ask me for it, it's already been reserved **
