Problem with Starting bike

Hi

here's what i encounter

 

 

at times, when i try to start the bike , cranking sound goes, but bike will not start

pulled out the plug cable and put in an extra plug to see, realise that, the cranking does not create sparking in the plugs

 

 

Batt is new, batt gets charged (according to my voltmeter reading))

plugs are new too

 

what can the problem be?

 

 

Bike is 7yrs old, Fazer 600 FZS6, the carb model.....

 

any ideas?

I assume that you grounded the spark plug to the engine block to check for spark?

the ignition has been rather stable for a week

and just before CNY

it starts again

yup mine oso got dis problem. i tink my coil?

 

Riding CBR400rr. Voltmeter shows 10.2 when on ignition. Light all working plus signal light tested.

 

Then, Head light off and press "START" on my bike. Couldnt start. Got Cranking sound. Press "START" a few times it become softer and softer(the sound.) Den NO SOUND at all.

 

Wad seems to be the problem? I would say its Rectifier, Coil or Battery. PLug cable? spark plug? I asssume all of u would say so.

 

I Check my bike take out my seat, the Ferring(not all behind only) den i realise my CDI on the left of my bike, A glue stain is theere. like melting coming from the CDI. Wah need to change CDI.

 

Going to bike shop for further inspection.

where is starter carbon brush located at my bike?hahas.

It's inside the electric starter. Might be worn-off.
