Lipas85: R125 size is R6 size =) just a little bit slimmer as in width but longer than R6, much bigger than KRR and CBR 150. Machine Price at $9500 (6mths ago) The bike is Made in Italy, not Japan, not Thailand. Fuel Consumption is at a humble 40-45km/Litre.

First-Ever Cross Threads Outing

 

Introduction:

It had always been a practice in sbf for each thread to organise their own outings and gatherings.

And it hit upon me that instead of keeping to one thread/one make of bike, why not widen our circles and meet riders of similar interest?

 

As a first attempt to organise a cross-threads outing, we are inviting riders of all make, types, classes of bikes, with the link posted in krr150, nsr150sp/rr, tzm150, cbr150, babymitto, rs125, r125, nsr250, rs250, babyblade, rvf400, gsxr400, zx4, m2b threads; covering most 2b/a sportsbikes.

 

Main objective of this gathering/outing is for riders of different threads to meet each other, widening friendships, and have fun! =)

 

Althought link is posted only in above mentioned threads, feel free to invite friends who are riding other bikes as well.

 

Once again emphasizing this is an open-to-all-bikes event.

Date: 18th April 2009

Time: 2200 HRS onwards

Venue: TBA

Duration: 2-4 Hours (free to go/join at any point of time)

 

Destinations:

 

From past experiences, we decided to keep exact locations unknown to all first.

 

Activities would be late dinner/supper, followed by riding to a nice scenic popular hangout for couples, before punching card at that well know place for engines.

It will be on a saturday's night, and we will be expecting quite a big turn-up. Thus all hot-spots would be avoided, in our routes and destinations. Time on hot-roads will be minimized. Special parking place will be allocated. To minimize risk, card-punching would be the last destination; as late as possible.

The bikes already arrived at looi's.I was told from my friends that the downpayment is $3k, cause insurance has gone up for all motor vehicle

Eh bro thanks ah..I juz called and checked wif Loois Mtrs..they say the bikes april then come..and the machine price is 10.5k...r they the only distributer here?? if so abit like monopolise...

They parrellel import in. No one distributes these bikes in asia, its not meant to be here anyway, in asia you have the R15 made in India LOL!!!

Not really, cuz its an Italian Yamaha, not all Yamaha Japan/Thai/India Parts can fit =)

When you guys bought your R125 at loois, do u need a guarantor when you are paying via instalments? Age comes into concern as well?

Sry for my post here although i dun ride a R125 but you guys; rides rox~~ The R125 looks very solid~~ -_- i have so far not seen one beside me on the road.. if not i will keep ogling at the bike.

I called few shops today no one carries the Bike Except Looi's but the price for me is 14 plus 15K inclusive of everything..My age 23 and its tat high..

 

I dont know whether I be able to afford 1 if the price tat high..Hope some miracle happens..

 

If nt just have to drool over you guys if I see u guys @ the traffic light

 

But 15K is as high as aprilia but I dont know guys..Wat I am fated with to ride..
