To each it's own I guess.. Each one got their preference and requirements..

 

Cheap, good and durable, means Caribou, but can't put helmet..

Can put helmet ones like xplorer, jesse are more expensive comparing to caribou, but they are not as durable if encounter a fall..

Zega cases, durable but not cheap..

OEM cases uses same keys, not cheap, can't put helmet.. Looks flush..

 

All types of cases got their pros and cons.. No best set for any particular bike IMO..

As requested by biting_point, here's a short post on the PC-8 along with other stuffs that I'd installed last night.....

 

PC-8, is something that I was tinkering about. But finally I'd made a decision to replace the messy DIY cheapo power distributing.

Installed last night, the kit was fully made for S10, but for those who wants to save, you can select the 30" kit, which will be cheaper, but you'll still need the pins into the connector.

 

 

Here's the peekture..

Sadly, there's no flush surface to mount it perfectly, so hv to find a sweet spot and stick it there, top right corner of the peekture.

So far only hooked up my Hella Supertone horns and they work great.

The PC-8 even comes with Grounding(-ve) points. This solves my problem to ground my auxiliary items to the body.

 

However, it seems that it hvnt solve my front LED flickering thou... hmm...

 

Next up, Volt meter

Tapped frm the PC-8 kit's relay.

To monitor the battery's heart rate...

 

Replaced the auxiliary topbox brake light connections too..

This kit is actually used for activating relay kits, therefore, have to swap 2 wires so that Im tapping the brake light instead of tail light.

 

Also, finally add in the proper alarm signal supply coupler..

I suppose u meant the one I know what ure refering to bah, so, yes, thats PC-8.

 

O, 41°C is the engine temp, had start stop bike to trial n err the connections, its showing mph bcos had to tk out batt screw, n gt abit prob there so maybe it sorta jumped to mileage instead of my usual kilo..

What could be the problem? Spark-plug?

ditto here too, bt occasionally. when encountered, I just throttle abit whilst firing it up.

 

but whats the likely cause?? :confused:

Nothing to be worry. As the S10 has a smaller start motor that draw less current while crank up.it common to fire up only after 3-4 crank.

 

Part reason is the battery has lost it full charge amp & part reason for lower amp in the batt is due to the current drawing New IU design(if u have a IU connected direct to Batt)

 

Mine fire up only after 4-5 crank but volt meter say healthy 14v charging.
