im interested in gettin a s10 but was wonderin how fast u guys can maintain? not comparing to busa/zzr14..but cn s10 keep up at 180-200km/h?

 

imho, can keep up at 180-190. But I find it not very uncomfortable at that speed. too much vibration. and FC will be around 12-13km/l...

 

oh yah. if you kanna cross wind at that speed will be bad, cos your side surface are is big, and the bike's aerodynamic not very good.

Hi all, quick check wif u all. Who was offering 31k for 2011 model?

sigh..... Ah hock don't wanna sell me leh. :p

 

My TDM still left 10months COE. Very difficult to sell now. May have to renew then sell which I sayang the remaining months.

 

Anyway the TDM is serving me well and just spend abit touching her up. Wait till April when bonus comes see how Loh.

S$31k OTR 2011 model should try Loois.

 

Bike pro/excel/ASP are HL unit which is 2012 model ard S$33k .

 

Both under current promo comes with skip plate,engine guard,side box.

 

180-200km/hr can be reach but not the comfort cruise speed of the S10.160-170km/hr is better.

 

After my last trip, I like the S10 more...it a keeper for now.

This tread is for past/present/future S10 rider/owner & fellow liker.

 

This is NOT a sale tread where a guy man the station to SELL bike.

 

So any info stated here is good till yesterday.

 

Surely any buyer will need to visit the bike shop and buy mah....not here.

after reading the ang mo review of the Crosstourer1200....i strip it off my list liao. reason been : poor FC & steer weight feel

 

as for the water-cool GSA 2013. it depends beh....after the last trip...i am happy that Yamaha is not a bandit magnet....as compare to a BMW.

 

so....must flip coin to decide....lolx :cheeky:

no offense to Xtourer lovers, IMO, the bike not really gone thru a lot of R&D to categorize as Adv Tourer..

more of a tall street bike in my context..

Got the promotion that HL is giving out.. I paid 32200 otr for e 2012 model!

Cant wait for it to arrive next friday!

I need help with the servicing and hws e running-in like..

32200 got include insurance ... ??

 

run-in .. not sure correct or not .... please correct me if i am wrong

 

1st run-in ... RPM 4k or below .. for the first 1000km .. change oil

2nd run-in ... RPM 5k or below ... for the next 600km .. change oil

after tat ... wack the bike ....

Just to find out... How much is ur insurance?

1st bike : Phantom TA150

2nd bike : Varadero 125

3rd bike : X9 180

4th bike : GSR 400

5th bike : Super Tenere XT1200Z

6th bike : R1200 GSA LC

7th bike : TmaxDx

8th bike : Softtail Fat Bob

Congrats.....and welcome.

 

U need to go HL for 1st 2 Svc 1500km & 3000km to keep ur 1yr or 12000km warranty.

 

Make ur 1st Svc booking when u collect bike as the slot is limited & can drag till 1mth away
