that's the reason y that day u didn't install the side rack.

I still don't really understand why with a solid piece bar you can't use aftermarket exhaust

 

That's the reason for failure to have 3 black H&B instead of current 1 only.lol

 

It has to do with the left side rack bracket.as slip-on is longer then stock.the slip-on get in the way of the side rack metal and also the H&B mounting bar.

 

Chance is H&B design the rack base on stock eox and didn't factor in slip-on. Faintz

Maybe I uncle Liao...such skin product is good for off road short period usage nia.

 

Long term usage on road in Sgp will just see the product either deform or dry up & crack.

 

Good old method of a cleaning cloth after seeing much action is still the best for uncle.haha

 

But well....we live in a overhanging world now.

 

for me, i'm just afraid that the stitching on the velcro will damage the sanction tubes..

my drz using sealsavers, but very troublesome to install as need to take out whole fork to pull it over..

 

like you said, the right side one had discoloured and cracked due to exposure to sunlight..

even bikes always parked under-shelter will have this problem..

 

it's not a install and forget thing..

I'm goin towards that direction. Trax panniers and top box..

Oh yes, u can use sw motech rack for ur hepco boxes too..

playing with the idea of getting black explorers and pelican cases as spares..

I am thinking of SW Motech quick removable racks with Trax 38l left / 45l right panniers for touring..

 

Anyway my bike comes out this Sat. Might go for a ride to Kulai and petrol run in the night.

 

What I'm putting my money once the bike is out :

- Trax panniers

- Sw Motech racks

- Sw Motech crashbars

- H&B skidplate

- Pyramid fender extender

From bikeshop, no problem when fitted with stock eox.

 

From Internet pic, looks ok to fit with arrow slip-on.

It either the nice carbon fiber arrow tip need to go or the solid H&B rack bar need to go.

 

Either way or exchange for a 2010 rack design from H&B or a sw motech rack w H&B plate.

 

I'm letting the workshop to handle the matters which I have full confident in them.

Nowadays many ppl had misuse the term "full accessories", I've seen quite a few ppl selling their "full accessories" bike at GS which are actually stock bike, not even a aftermarket endcan as accessory..

 

If it's with panniers and top case, it's quite a good deal at $30.5k..

For S10, there is only two official package. 1st edition pack or HL bare pack. Anything else is DIY aka bikeshop pack.....lol

 

1st edition pack has original skip plate,headlamp cover,Left & right side pennier 30L silver.it going for S$35K OTR w/o insurance if available.

 

So if assume the S$30.5k OTR still need add COE & Insurance also s$34k nia.

 

Sometime when things are too GOOD to be true.....it usually is.haha
