today managed to get HL to squeeze in time next Monday for me to do my first servicing. Noticed another s10 due for next Monday for servicing too. Looks like Hockie's bike if I remember the license plate.

 

After reading what you guys say abt S mode, I started using the S mode this morning. hehe. really nice for local road. But I doubt I will use it for touring, as when I test it on NSH, it create more vibration...

 

Anyone checked price of Akrapovic exhaust yet? and, is the silencer removable? it didn't state any removeable baffle in it's installation guide... *money draining away like water....*

best way to round off a square tire is to kup more corner(within own limit)..keke

I've checked with H&B.. they would not be releasing any side racks that can fit aftermarket exhaust..

guess SW Motech is the one..

 

I've also request Samco dealer to check if they can make a set of coolant hoses..

will update if we can get any group discount..

no worries on the H&B side rack,irregardless of 2010 design or 2011 design. now it is possible to retain all three mounting point on the H&B side rack.

 

i like SW & touratech side rack but in term of side box design, i still perfer the xporler.keke

my bad.. didnt notice the "rear"..

 

there's a thread somewhere (AUS/US) that has S10 mount on some various setups (all views).. 30L with 40L explorers, both 40L, both 30L and with other brands of cases, etc..

i may have saved it on my mac at home.. will try to find and post here..

Maybe the web has less S10 with xplorer side case from back view is cos the side view are more sexy....lol

 

Both side 40L is useful in storage but can forget abit lane spilt.

 

Both side 30L is slim & still can squeeze abit but storage space is little.

 

1 x 30L & 1 x 40L. Acceptable storage of two FF helmet & abit of stuff in 30L case but can forget abt lane spilt in Sgp.lol

 

But TC45L can fit 2x open face(69 style).

Exhaust stickers not sticking well, might go for spray instead. Need to find time and space to spray it. ^^

 

u guys think it's better to spray the pillion peg bracket black as well?

i notice the bike has CF sticker on the H&B skip plate,stock heel plate & exahust guard ?

 

you had the GiVi rear rack bracket? so is your side box going to be Givi as well? if so, whats the demage ?(incase i looking for mega carrier on the S10).

Hong leong quote is S$31.3k OTR w/o insurance. u cant go too low from there and dont buy if u pay OVER that as well(unless got extra on the S10).

 

*bike trade-in may result in a LOWER price for new bike but also a lower trade-in value for the old bike. hence , it not a fair compare .above price is base on "BUY ONLY" price.

 

Super Tenere = XT1200Z = S10.

I find the left side pannier is well made. They even made room for the exhaust so the bike wont be extra wide on one side.

I am still finding a blue S10 owner who is willing to a 1 to 1 exchange for these items,

 

- side panels ( the one covering the battery on the right and the one covering the radiator on the left)

- rider and pillion seat

 

Exchange ur silver panels with my black panels.

Exchange ur silver/black leather seats with my all black seats.

 

If the exchange is successful, Ur blue bike will look almost like the current 2011/2012 S10 with the blue/black color theme. Only the shade of blue will be different.

 

Criteria:

 

- ur silver side panels must be free from scratches and stickers

- clean seats with no scratches.
