wah shite... mine hit reserve @ 316km+/-....

 

1st full tank @ last friday after meetup, hit reserve last night ½ way @ PIE...

 

TC 1, T mode, just change K&N air filter, stock exhaust, 3 boxes...

 

guess i too throttle happy liao...

Wan better fc, must go zen on ur right hand. For me, engine only loosen up ard 8k+ mileage..

maybe its myself or havent got the chance to feel it, vibes on handles are still ok, since changed to BMW contoured grips left over frm my S4.

 

When on high speed, it feels smoother than moving off & inbetween gears...

My mileage is just over 5000k.

I can really feel vibes on lower gears when accelerating hard, but on 5th and 6th gear, smooth.......

 

I had that feeling too & when low gear full throttle,the bike like wan go no go like that for spilt secs...but that feeling goes away when the milage climbs up & EO change.But the Vib sign of windscreen & head cowl shake still there as of today but not that bad anymore.lolx

Kev's: ur BMW grips, does it cover fully the throttle? Or u can still see the white throttle plastic?

 

The last time i change on my S10, there's a lot of gap that's not covered by the grip. Yamaha S10's grip is 135mm while BMW's is 125mm length.

BMW grid on S10 sure got gap 1.

 

Depend on where u buy & install it.the better 1 will include some sort of filler so that the grid & switch is flash.

I got mine from the usual workshop that kit up my S10.

 

No prize for guessing the shop that has most H&B stuff.lolx

 

As it Part of the grid package which I got from them,not sure if they sell the filler anot.

finally got my bike. waited 6 full months for it. Not the colour scheme that has been promised. wanted the blue and black panel, but got the

blackout one. doesnt matter lah.

Anws, bike has been out for 3 days already and have been riding and loving the new toy.

There's a lot of newbie questions but i do not know where to start.

Ive been looking up this thread and i noticed a lot of terms or jargons that i do not understand.

What is EO? What is CO? wat are those things that u guys have been "trial-ing and error-ing" about the number that effects ur mileages( in facebook).. i really catch no ball. definitely need to mit up and learn from u guys

i have been playing with the CO ... so far i didnt see and diff wit the FC ...

only the pop pop sound of the exhaust diff .... the higher you set

the more pop pop pop you get ... hahaha

Congrats on ur S10.so u got the blue/black 2012 model?

 

EO - engine oil

CO - exhaust O2 sensor setting

 

Much value has been mention however the below is the general guide

 

CO-0 : for full stock

CO-1 or 2 : for aftermarket air filter (other remain stock)

CO-3 or 4 : for slp-on added

CO-5 or 6 : for FS eox with or w/o air filter added

CO-7 beyond : no physical usage except to dump more fuel for backfire & lousy FC

 

Enjoy & may u find ur ideal CO setting as each S10 owner has different accessories load On the bike & the rider weight.
