you probably wont get much response here. try stock talk forums or talk to people who do degression buy in. Personally I find that the haves and those in the know wont share... until it is time for window dressing or warming for an exit

that is the absolute truth!

Sorry no recommendation.

just slowly learn over the years.

A matter of taking the right risks over the probabilities.

i dont go big, just small money, max single holding only $100k.

the rest are in interest yielding instruments.

Not good enough to retire in style yet becos not enough guts, missed out of a few really golden chances.....sigh....

Min usd200k

yield 9%

maturity sep 2015

heh heh heh.

EM HY bond.

This move creates about S$2k income for me per month.

i could do it ten times over to create $20k per month but it would be too much concentration risk for me to accept....

so i bundle with various other "moves" to create about $7k passive income per month so far. Some more to go. But gotta tread carefully.

That amount is out of my league.

Today i picked up Capitalmall Asia at 2.19, looking to make the difference of 3c from the Cland buying price.

hi throttle, how is US bond bought? did u buy thru internet, or local securities? thanks

Dude, bonds trade OTC so the best way is to buy through a market maker.

in my case, i bought using my private bank account.

local securities house or even a standard broker may be able to get it for you if they are market makers or through their secondary bond trader,

however, the comms would be high and prices may not be as good.

0.5% to 0.75% seems to be the comms pricing on the street.
