Vols were pretty high a few weeks ago so i took the chance and sold a couple of short dated AUD puts against USD. Made a few grand. quite alright.

Location, site and environment are all very important.

Prices are getting nowhere up now, so time is on your side.

bot SPH at 2.63 a while ago.

sold it for 2.70 last friday

bot it back at 2.61 today

will sell it again near 2.70

Good trading range for that counter.. Then again only for the ones with holding power.

So far still the same % increase 2 - 2.5% every month, very slow, average only 24+% per annual.

Well my feel is that there is 15% - 20% more to go down so 1500 is very possible.

 

I dont follow reports, they are written by people with no real feel of the market and base on past information which is already too late or wrong.

 

 

In case you dont know, supports can be broken.

 

support at 3500, support at 2800, support at 2000, support at 1800 all broken.....

bot Suntec REIT at 0.50 about 2 weeks ago.

Now slowly unloading.

a little breather for now but dont expect things to get back to the good times.

real economy in Singapore is still doing poorly and results are mediocre at best.

took profit on Suntec reit. and St engineering.

made about $1,200 in 2 weeks. not bad but a lot more to do before making back the money lost last year.

Me too, St Eng and Semb Marine. But only 3 figure. Some pocket money only.

depends on whether you want academic type theoratical indicators or you prefer trader type gut feel...... haha.

 

there are many studies made on relative strength, and moving averages etc but i prefer my own feel when it finally comes down to making the decision
