Yeap..like what driftbaker said...need not worry. Its just from the shims uneven wear and tear, however this noise should go off after a week or two but if it persist and gets louder every now and then..then its time for replacement.

Wikipedia says.."a shim is a thin and often tapered or wedger piece of material, used to fill small gaps or spaces between objects. Shims are typically used in order to support, adjust for better fit, or provide a level surface. Shims may also be used as spacerto fill gaps between parts subject to wear." For S4..it's right under the "Can Follower" (plse check Wikipedia) and loke a disc spacer.

ah pek, the thing that rasie my rear suspension, wad did u say that was again?

also, if i add spacer, does it mean my suspension will be spoilt because it's stiffness is compromised already, ie aft i remove the spacer, it will nv gain back it's orignial length anymore.

No..the spacer is for the spring rebound rate and where its inserted, it does not contributed to the length of the suspension but rather just compress the spring and added up rebound rate.

The thing that 'raise' the suspension is call a "posh"(product brand name)..its just a gimmick and fancy accessories. Serve no purpose and affect your centrifugal force of your bike during cornering handling.

I strongly recommend not to use those back suspension gimmicks to raise the seat height. If you are a heavy by weight..the two best thing u can do is have your fron't fork oil filled up to 480cc at least but do not exceed 500cc and add a axles bearing size bearing into each fork for better spring rebound. As for the back suspension, visit Teck Thye and installed a spring spacer (selling in Malaysia too..double the thickness) and have your oil and nitrogen gas refilled ($40 each canister). Its actually as good as refurbishing your suspension..cost is $240. Tell him you are on the heavy side and he knows what to do.

Whatever, raising the bike is not going to help with your 'sinking' down problem..its the components that works within specs that keeps your bike from bottoming due to load weight that does not affect handling that is more important. :argue:

One can just raise back and front fork with other model bike but its not the way to do. :giddy:

if i not wrong,

same as car's clock connection.

:)

+ve,-ve to the battery you mean?

cos i heard can just connect to any metal with voltage running through.

but apparently thats not working.haha.

and any idea which part of ignition to connect to?

cos from what i know, dont have to start engine but just on the bike and the volmeter will be working.

thanks alot anyway!
