ah pek,juz nw wen otw to work i tried wacking my bike 2 140-150km/h... wen i reach work the right side of the mid block seems to leak again as i can see traces of oil on the block itself and my sidebox cover.... hw leh? need some help here bro... but wat i notice is dat if i don't go to such speed its ok(meaning 90-120km/h,depending on rd condition and uncle sammie not arnd lah... keke) plz advise bro... tanx in advance.....

I didn't bother with the FC cause I know my right hand very itchy lol.

After changing EO and X1R with Ahpek. Sometimes I can hear the throttle whipering.. turn me... turn me..

 

Unless after the EO change you can discipline yourself to ride normally, which frankly I find very hard

 

maybe i try to discipline myself . my current already 380 before reserve . if get 400 before reserve should be quite interesting

 

hey bro gd FC man... my latest full tank hit 378 b4 reserve... that's the best so far,but have to really discipline myself.... keke.... very hard leh since bike so smooth and the throttle like calling on u to twist it more.... nw monitoring the next full tank,if can get better oso POWER.....

i have no defined days cos i will usually do it when i'm home early and not going out liao..have early dinner then start about 8-9pm..but more on week days than week ends cos fri/sat nights are mahjong sessions for me..haha..no kaki's leh..the one other friend i have riding bike like wont have this kinda mood come all the way to tampines from his place just to wash bike..by the time he get back bike dirty again liao..

 

I think that time you nvr see me cause I was jogging opposite tpjc.

I ride a 50th anniversary Ver S too, but my paint work instead of the white its black with red stripes.

I can wash on the weekdays too, but the more time consuming work like adjust this and that I do on weekends, more relaxed lol.

Engine flush is a process where some old oil are drained off and the remainder being added with a sludge removing agent (chemical). Then the engine be run for about 15-20 mins...this is when the gearbox internal components, cyclinder wall or just about anywhere the eo path is..are cleanse of oil sludge, residue slime or what have you inside. Then later drained all off and change with new eo. This is what engine flush is.

 

seem like a lot of work leh..

Why in the first place u wanna wack wack an injure block lah?..new block can lah...ha...x3! Its not excess, too much pressure liao forcing whatever patch cannot hold. Right easy lah..let it cured properly first mah.

 

Anyway..got ppl enquiring about the block I have liao.

 

Be off tomorrow morning..won't be back till 31st March. Can still posy here but can't do anything.

Is it a constant knocking sound? does the knocking increase with speed? rpm?

cant be chain bro as i just changed my bearing last week, during changing surely after that they tighten chain also together... in lower gear ard 1,2 or 3 got the knock2 sound, higher gear than sound gone... will try go bike shop after this and c what wrong with it, thank guys...

hi fi_east, is the knocking sound the same no matter what speed you riding or does the knocking become faster as you ride faster? my ver S had a knocking sound also, when i brought to mech i was told that it was my timing chain or i need to do valve clearance but i went to another mech who said it was not my timing chain but my front sprocket, i asked him how to tell the difference he told me if timing chain the knocking or ticking sound will be constant even if the bike is idle and the sound will be constant no matter your speed. and valve clearance has nothing to do with the knocking sound basically if your bike has problems starting, no power, and idle sounds like the bum boat going to ubin then you need to do your valve clearance but if the sound changes faster when you ride faster then could be one of the following, sprocket (front or rear) chain loose, Rim bearing worn,

 

since you just changed your bearing i will guess its you sprocket and chain.
