Hey,

 

Ah pek whenever i depressed my rear brake i realised tat my rear brake light is not tat responsive... meaning tat i must depress really hard for my rear brake light to light-up. Is there some problem to my rear brake wiring? (rear brake light light-up fine when I press the front brake)

i diy-ed my rear led blinkers n it stays ON ley....

 

only got 2 wires ea, one goes to the signal (yellow), the other to battery supply (brown) ..

 

Something is not right lah..swop the two wire?..test test first.

Ah Pek...wana ask something. Juz now otw hm i ride through Bukit Timah Road and there is very slow traffic...i can feel my bike getting hotter. Suddenly the Temp light is ON and i can smell someting burning. But after awhile the light go off and no smell. Is this normal when riding stop/go many times? Or my water pump kong already? Help....

No lah...nothing is wrong...just wear height of the brake switch spring. Go tot he right side of the bike. Behind the triangular panel..the brake switch is there. The switch is a black plastic piece and is supported by a small metal bracket (switch seating on it)..some threading and a locking plastic nut. Loosening the nut would allow you to adjust the switch seating and pull the spring a bit more. That should do it.

Normally when caught in traffic jam things like that happens but not so easily. Did your fan cut "on"..if not, its either your fan gone bad, radiator fan switch is bad or coolant system do not have a thermostat inside or the thrmostat stuck. What I just said can caused the coolant to boiled and having the temp lite comes on is very serious liao (unless your meter is MIC one). Nothing to do with coolant pump.

Hey Ah pek, at which pointer mark of the coolant scale should u start preping to refill the coolant? Currently my's under the lower sector indicator pt, 1/3 of the reserve. bike does warm up veri quick nowaday could even feel the heat if the riding journey amount to 10min. Am i stil safe or is my bike about to explode lol.

Time to top up till it reach the upper level marl liao. The extra heat may be due to coolant being lag of water ratio and low level coolant in the reserve tank. If you are topping up yourself..go get the premixed type coolant from kiosk. If you get concentrated coolant, make sure you premix the coolant with DISTILLED or DEIONISED WATER. Most mototiam don't borther and tap water are use..thus caused rusting in ur radiator.

 

You need good coolant..pm me.

Very safe lah...as long as you check the reserve tank and make sure the coolant level is at the upper level marking. In the meantime, monitor if your fan does cut "on" or not when it happens again.

ic, guess its time to get those coolant refill, probably not gonna self do it, since i don even know what sort of coolant was previously use, shouldnt mix apple jucie with orange juice, else no idea what sort of hybrid coolant product will be cooling my engine:cheeky: . ty as always.
